Just booked YC-standard view- tell me all about it!!

I just booked YC- standard view for 3 nights in December. The only requests I made were upper level and close to an elevator. Please give me all the details of the things I shouldn't miss at YC. I was off the boards all weekend and just read about CBR closing so I went with YC. My kids aren't going to believe it as I was leaning towards going back to CBR because of the great rates. Maybe I won't tell them. Anyway, I'm soooo excited!!

Congratulations! Make sure to also request a room on the lake side of the hotel - then you won't have a parking lot view. Hope you have a great time, can't wait to hear what you think of the place!

We had a standard view room, and it overlooked the wedding gazebo. That was a fantastic view, there were 2 weddings there the last weekend we were there. Our room was on the second floor, and it was great. It was right down the hall from the elevator, and the stairs so we could take either. Your kids will love it, great pool, great location, great hotel!
