Just booked WL!

So I thank everyone for all of their suggestions! I got off work at 4am this morning and got home...logged on to disneyworld.com and lucked into a standard room at the WL! How awesome is that?

So I've never stayed there so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what to request as far as room placement etc.

I'm super excited!

I don't know of any specific standard rooms to request....but....

congrats on booking the Lodge!!!

I would suggest an upper floor room in the north wing which faces towards the MK and Contemporary. We had a standard room in that location last year and we were able to see the fireworks at night. Very magical!

This is one of my favorite resorts on Disney property. I just love the theming of this resort. There is a little deck on the 2nd floor that faces out to the pool and the lagoon. There is a couple of chairs there and it was pretty quiet.

Request a room on the sixth floor, on the wing facing the MK.

You'll be able to see the MK, fireworks, Contemporary, and part of the GF. There is a service area in the foreground, but if you are up on floor 6 you are high enough to not be too bothered by the noise.
