:yay:Decided this morning that after a rough few weeks with family issues, that we could use some Disney magic. Booked last minute flights thru expedia and just now booked Beach Club from 15-20 April for $322 via Travelocity which was the best rate I could find.(Please don't tell me it is $100 cheaper somewhere else. I started out this plan thinking we would stay Value and save some money- that idea did not last too long.) So having never booked Disney using one of that discount sites, what is my next step? Normally I book direct with Disney using room only discount which are not available right now for last minute trip. I can get park tickets at local Disney store but what about these advance fast pass reservations that are required now? Can I do those now as well or after I purchase park tickets? Will I get some type of paperwork from Disney like I usually do when booking direct? Many thanks.

I booked a room only reservation through Travelocity just a few days ago. They have the lowest rates I could find anywhere! Here's what I did: 1) I called Travelocity and asked for the "booking number." (Saw a reference to using the booking number on another thread.) The phone rep was able to provide me with that number instantly, total call was about 5 minutes. 2) I then used the booking number to located my reservation in My Disney Experience. Room reservation loaded immediately. I customized our Magic Bands and did online check-in right away. (You may be too close to your arrival date to customize your magic bands and have shipped to your house, so you'll likely receive gray bands, with your names on them, when you check in.) 3) I then bought park passes through MDE. (I chose to have them mailed to my house, as we're 47 days from check-in.) If you chose to buy passes through MDE, you can choose pick-up at Will Call at the gate, but you can book fast passes immediately. I won't have my tickets in hand until 4/16, but booked FP+ immediately after paying for my tickets. I haven't bought park tickets at a local store in about 15 years, but my understanding is: once you've purchased them, you enter the numbers on the back of the hardcopy park ticket into MDE, and then book your fast passes.

I hope this all makes sense. This was my experience with booking a last minute trip. I'm sure other will weigh in with their experiences.

Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks! I called Travelocity and got a booking number but Disney's computer systems are currently down for "magical enhancement" according to the Disney operator on phone. So will try again in a bit. This is our first time having to use the FastPass advance reservations so I am very nervous there will be no times left at such last minute. I long for the old Fast Pass days. I have never had to plan out our Disney trips out like this before -this is not our touring style. But that is a whole separate discussion. Appreciate your help!

I bought physical tickets before, and yes, just assign the number to each person in your party in MDE, and then write the name of that person on the ticket so you can keep track of whose ticket is whose.

You might not get top pick of FPs, but there will be plenty enough I'm sure. Peruse this to get an idea of what you can still book :
