I just booked the Wished Dessert Party for July 13.

I think today (June 22) was the first day you could book it. It's $17.99 and $9.99 per person, paid in advance, with a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Seating begins 1 hour prior to Wishes at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station outside seating.

Reservations are made just like other dining: 407-WDW-DINE.

We did this too for July 11 :thumbsup2 Can't wait!

The most stressful thing for me is trying to jockey for viewing space with the huge crowds. If I set up an hour in advance and get muscled out it makes me FURIOUS and ruins the experience for me. So, I'd rather pay a little more for a more "private" viewing. I hope this is worthwhile!

Me too, for August 5th. Can't wait!!! Wishes and desserts=:cloud9:

This ends 2 days before we go down. In hopes that it's successful and they extend it, I would love to see pics or read a review after you all have come back. Enjoy!! I am sure the desserts will be yummy!!!!

2 questions...

If wishes starts at 10pm, I assume this starts at 9pm?

Also, Spectro is scheduled for 9pm so my question is if I get there for 9 will I be able to see Spectro as well as wishes???

Yes, the party starts 1 hour before Wishes, so 9pm.

I'm pretty sure you cannot view Spectro well, if at all, from the TL Terrace. But I haven't been over there in awhile to comment on that.

Yippee! Just booked this for DH and I on August 13th!! :woohoo:

A night with all things that I love: Hubby, Wishes & Yummy Desserts!!

Following my conversation with the ADR CM, it seems like it works much like a regular meal ADR. You are supposed to check-in 15 minutes to your reservation time and thus, seeing spectromagic may be a problem!!

I was hoping to see both and I may go to the Dessert party and check-in while my wife and kids see Spectro.

One last note, the reservations for this feature are selling fast, multiple days that I looked for between 8/19 and 8/24 were already booked out!!

If you are unsure of whether you want to do this at the present time but are still interested, I would book now...remember there is a 24 hour ccancellation prior to the time of the reservation!!

How do you do this? Why don't I know this? Man, we are leaving in a week!!

We booked for July 3. :goodvibes We chose this date for 2 reasons.

#1 - it's a special preview of the 4th of July fireworks, so we'll get to see a special show in a location that hopefully won't be as crowded as Main St and the Hub

#2 - on this night, Spectro is at 10:30, so we'll get to the dessert party at 8:00, the Celebrate America show will be at 9:00, and then we'll still be able to see Spectro at 10:30

:thumbsup2

Do you get just one dessert or is it like a buffet? Can you use any of the dining plan credits to pay for it?

That's the one thing I specifically remember her saying. It's also a pay in advance thing with a 24 hour cancellation policy.

It is supposed to be a buffet with an assortment of sweets and fresh fruit.

According to the ADR CM when I booked our resservations, you cannot use the dining plan and you must prepay at the time of booking. It is possible to cancel your reservation with 24 hr. notice!!

yay! cant wait for reviews!

just booked for aug 26th! i hope its as good as it sounds!

oh i do have a question, was anyone able to find out how many people are allowed into the party?

i asked the CM when i was booking and she just said that its on a first come first serve basis. which didn't really give me an idea about how crowded it would be.

also, she mention that we would be shown to our table? so im guessing that we have specific tables?? and then would we be able to go to the railing of the lower level to see the fireworks? unless she was just saying the standard message when making a dining reservation :confused3

This is the 1st time i'm hearing of this. DH and I are going Aug. 1st for my birthday. Can someone please explain exactly what this is? Thanks.
