:cool1: We did the Illuminations cruise on our last trip so I thought I'd try and book a last minute (only 24 more days to go!) Wishes cruise. :boat: I was very flexible on my dates and guess what, WE GOT IT! :cloud9: I'm so excited. I'm going to try and keep it a secret and surprise DH since he'll be turning 40 on Monday.

I had my choice of places to take off from (Poly, CR, WL) and I chose the Poly.

Congratulations! We did the Wishes Cruise from the Poly last Saturday & it was awesome! It was our first time & I surprised DW for our 5th Anniversary! You will have a great time!

Congrats! What a wonderful surprise!!! I bet you will have so much fun. I want to try a disney cruise one day. We got the cruise info in the mail the other day and watched the DVD. It looked so awesome! Of course I want to try the 7 night land and sea option. Have fun and let us know how much fun you had! :goodvibes

Good for you!

We were in the same boat (ha ha) and did a Wishes cruise last month for our 10th anniversary.

We all had a marvelous time, and were glad we did Wishes instead of Illuminations. We finally saw Tinkerbelle!

We also had chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne (or was it white wine?) sent to our boat for the cruise. That really kicked it up a notch, made us all feel like royalty.

Hope you have fun--enjoy!

Wow, who did you order the champagne and strawberries from? I know they mentioned a bag of snacks. Does anyone remember what's in it?

I'm soooo excited! I broke down and told DH since this trip is getting a little pricey and I wanted to make sure we were in agreement. He is excited since we had such a memorable time on the Illuminations cruise. Definitely going to keep it a surprise for the boys though. Last time on the Illuminations cruise, Capt. Ron let them both drive the boat around a small inlet (near the BWI if I remember correctly) and they had a ball. I wasn't feeling very well and Capt. Ron (the sweetheart that he is ) told me to lay back, relax and put my feet up and then proceeded to give me a blanket and tucked me in. :goodvibes

Ashley80 - Disney cruises are great, but I think you're confusing the Dinsey Wonder with the Wishes cruise that sits in the Seven Seas Lagoon and you watch the Wishes fireworks over the castle at MK. We went on the 7 day Eastern Magic cruise and loved it!

I called the Disney recreation line (the same one I booked the cruise through) and they gave me the number for the Wilderness Lodge dining. Since you're leaving from the Poly, I would try their dining number.

I don't remember what the snacks were exactly....single serving size bags of chips and cans of pop. We were too stuffed on strawberries to eat any, but our captain let us bring back some snacks to our room. Michelle was very nice!

Hope that helps--have fun!
