We stayed at WBC two trips ago and we really loved it. We were a group of 5 adults and the three bedroom was perfect. We loved having all the extra room, and we had a pretty decent deal at $120/night.

We are trying out Windsor Hills this trip. It will be four adults (me and DH, plus my sister and my mom) and our DD. We booked a 3 bedroom town home through Vacation Central Florida and we are really looking forward to parking right outside the door in a driveway and having a private pool right outside the patio door.

When we first considered WH instead of WBC, I was worried we would miss that "resort feel." But then I figured, for $600 for the week all-in (incl. cleaning, taxes, etc.), it was just too good of a deal not to at least try once. And lately it seems like we have just as many people raving about WH as WBC. We had been thinking of one day buying property in central florida as a vacation home, but if we could consistently get a nice place at WH for $500-600/week, it wouldn't make much sense to buy.

No questions...just wanted to share my excitement over getting to try WH!

I think you'll like WH, especially having your own splash pool with the townhouse. We've stayed in several condos there over the years and our only complaint is that the community pool closes early. Having your own pool solves that problem.

Hope you have a great trip! :thumbsup2

Thanks! My DD is 8 months now and we just started her in swim lessons (more of like baby play time in the water...it's not like you can teach a baby the backstroke...) and she LOVES the water. The size of the pool won't matter one bit to her and I think it will just be so convenient to have the pool right there.

The community pool closes for refurb a couple days into our stay, so we will probably try that out our first day.

We've stayed @ WH 3 times over the years--2x in a condo and once in a 5 bedroom home. All stays were quite nice. The only issue we ever had was in one condo (ground level) when the people staying above us let their teens run wild. Luckily, it only took a mention of the sound level the kids were creating late in the evening and the dad in the group settled them down.

It's nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer---saves an incredible amount of time, money and cuts down on packing.

Don't forget to learn the shortcut on Sherbeth Rd. to the AK. :thumbsup2

We are 4 adults (me, wife, her parents) and our 2 boys. We did a townhome several years ago. The amenities are great. The splash pool is nice, but not a lot of room around it for sitting.

Our latest trip we got a 4 BR house because we wanted a bigger pool and outdoor seating for relaxing and cooking out. Wow. Much bigger, and our boys (11 & 7) loved the garage converted to game room. I think it was about $110/night, while our 3BR townhome was about $80/night 4 years earlier.

We'll never stay anywhere other than WH.
