Just booked Walts

Hurrah!
Just booked Walts for 7pm on July 14th . However I wasn't allowed to request a window seat and I know they have never lost any of my reservations before but I wish you got some kind of confirmation when you booked. I would hate to roll up in high season and not be able to eat at my favourite restaurant . I wonder if i could phone the actual restaurant nearer the time and ask about a window table and that way also be sure they had my booking?

You can phone the dining reservations line again nearer the time and ask them to check the reservation. I phoned yesterday to change one of my bookings and was relieved that she was able to find them with no problem. You can also go into city hall when you arrive or to the concierge desk at your hotel (if you stay onsite) and ask them to print your reservations for you.

That's a great idea Jo about phoning nearer the time to confirm the table reservations - thanks! I've been worrying too about our reservations as we're going the Jubilee week which I'm expecting to be manic!

We phoned today to change our reservation for the Cowboy Cookout to a later time and they were able to find our original booking and move it to later with no problems!

We always go to city hall on arrival day and get a print out of our reservations just to make sure they are all booked fine.

definately worth getting a print out at cityhall when you arrive. A few years ago Cafe Mickeys computer/reservation/tills system went down when we were there -queues were out the door but they would only let people in who had print off of the reservations as proof that they had actually booked!

I am so glad I asked now after hearing this! I think I would cry if I turned up and Walt's reservation system was down.......thanks for all the tips everybody ..........now about that window seat ? Can you request one is it just down to good fortune?
