I am so excited because yesterday I was able to complete our day by day ressies for 3 nights at Vero next May. I always wanted to stay there but thought we would never get in.

DH and I will be travelling with my parents and DD who will be almost 4 and DS who will be 10 months old. We have a 2 bed lock off booked. It looks like a GREAT place to take preschoolers. DD is going to love the pirate ship water area!

Just a few questions:

Has anyone been to the character breakfast or Sunday lunch? Any reviews or comments?

How do I book for the above meals? WDW Dine or VB directly?

Anyone got links to Vero info or pics?

I am hoping to be able to also book BCV for the remainder of our two week stay (we travel from England), otherwise I will be happy to show SSR off to my parents. Cannot wait for this trip- our little man's first trip to WDW. We are off to Disneyland Paris next month but my heart lies at WDW!!!

Any info on Vero much appreciated!

ADR's for Vero have to be made with Vero directly. They may only be made 30 days in advance of your desired reservation date. The direct line to make Vero ADR's is: 772-234-2180.

Sonya's Sunday Brunch is great. I haven't done the character breakfast, but last I knew Goofy and Max were the characters.

VB is lovely, I hope you have a great time!

We were at VB last weekend. There is a new change in that dining ADR's can be made 180 days in advance at the resort. So new in fact that when we made our T'Giving dinner ressie, the CM was not aware of the change. Also, Goofy and Donald were the characters.

So happy for you. :cool1: You're going to love it. We fell in love with VB after buying into BWV, but we have never felt the need to switch or add VB points because we have never had a problem getting ressies there. :thumbsup2

Here's some info from a previous post of mine. I understand from other posts that AllEarsNet.com has the best selection of pics of all the resorts.

Previous post: Of course they have a cool pool, hot Jacuzzi, miniature golf, exercise room, ping pong, bike rentals, The Green Cabin Room (bar/restaurant) has 2nd floor covered deck that has a fantastic view of the ocean and is a nice place to relax with your favorite beverage. It also has live entertainment in the evenings. At night they have a campfire / s’more roast. You can rent a small catamaran or jet-ski for ocean fun. Across the street they have a lake and nature trail, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Disney built a private tunnel under the road to access this area.

Five minutes away is Pelican Island and a wildlife education center. Also minutes away is Sebastian Inlet were the Indian River meets the ocean. There are river excursions where you can see dolphins, manatee, and tons of other types of wildlife. About an hour away is Cape Canaveral, (where the Magic and Wonder dock), the Kennedy Space Center, and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge with walking and driving tours.

Have a great time :beach:
