We had ressies for Oct 17-18 (2 nights) at coranodo springs but just couldn't wait for the AP/s or codes anymore. Got the Swan for 2 nights at about $164 a night with our AP's and free upgrade to lake/pool view. Than on Sun Oct 19 we moved over to our home BWV for 5 nights. Couldn't get much closer for the move other than BWI. If codes don't come out soon for Oct/DEC I think a lot of people will book elsewhere. A couple weeks ago I called the SWAN and they wanted about $262 a night so I think I got a good deal at $164 a night (includes tax and resort fee). I tried to get the resort fee taken off but they couldn't. NO BIG DEAL. So now I can check in early on Sunday at BWV and see if the 11 month (DVC)window really works

I'm new at this so someone let me know if this is a good deal ok?

Swan and Dolphin are really negotiating I just got quoted Labor day week at club level for $174 a night, including the fee!

Somebody tell me if I did well or should I keep trying?

Wilderness Lodge is running $149.00 a night?

I did the same thing. Since discounts coming out for my trip (12/20-12/29) arent a sure thing, I couldnt take the stress of worrying about it anymore and when I saw the AP rate at the Swan, I jumped on it. For 360.00 more we went from 9 nights at ASMO to 9 nights at a deluxe. How could I not?
If good rates do come out I may still switch to the Poly for the second half of the trip but at least I know I will be in a deluxe for Christmas and my birthday, and not have to take a second mortgage out on the house.
