Dad was getting paranoid about some of the hotels filling up. We did not get the government rate though. To get that as a teacher you need a state issued ID. I don't know about you, but Ohio does not issue our teacher IDs--mine just says "Clay High Staff member". She said union cards or teaching certificates were no good either. So we got the super saver rate of $119 each room. At least I know it's a nice place since I stayed there last June. I don't want to have to worry about ticking my sister off. And in all honesty, even if the kids have pool time on the cruise the pools are little, so they will enjoy this pool.
And anyhow, I can still cancel if I have to.
Next is the cars. Think I'll give myself a few days off! Although I noticed on the mousesavers site that the best discounts at Avis and Budget are the Walmart codes!

We just stayed there 1/16/04 the night before our cruise. It was a little chilly so the kids swam in the jacuzzi in the room. I found a coupon for the hotel that gets you the rate of 79.00 per night. They do have expiration dates but check if one is available for your dates. www.roomsaver.com It says this one is good for 1/1/04-4/30/04

We also booked a car for a one day rental before and after the cruise from Budget. It was 26.00 from airport to port and then 46.00 from port to airport and it was for a full size 4 door.
