We are excited...We have never been, but my kids(7,10) are big Harry Potter fans!!! I am planning IOA on the 13th and US on the 14th...I'm thinking of buying express passes to US for $19.99.... What do you think??

You should wait until you arrive to purchase EPs. Express Plus passes are non-refundable and date specific so if you purchase them ahead of time and your plans change, you're out the money. Plus you can check the wait times first hand...you may not need them so it's always best to wait.

Yes I agree, crowds may be light enough at that time that you won't need them and you can always buy them there if need be. Keep in mind there are a ton of things to do there besides Harry Potter, HP is just the latest awesome addition to an already awesome pair of theme parks, Universal and Islands of Adventure. :thumbsup2

If you are only paying $19.99 for Express Passes then you are going a slow week. Wait and see.

Thank you.... I will wait and see....I wouldn't buy the express passes for IOA since I'm getting early admission included in the package..I was thinking about buying them only for US....but I will wait :thumbsup2 ... I did buy the meal ticket already for US .. I should have waited :confused3 I booked a 10am broomstick breakfast for IOA...should I make reservations for lunch and dinner??

Why don't you stay one night in One of the Universal Hotels that offer Front of the Line Access? You will receive FOTL for two days, check in day and Check out Day. if there are 4 of you that would be worth $160 bucks.

You won't need to make reservations at the Studios since you have the meal deal. None of the participating restaurants offer reservations...it's all counter service. Only table service places will take reservations in the parks. At IOA you could have lunch at Mythos and then dinner at CityWalk since the parks close at 7pm when you're here. But other than that...there really isn't much choice.

I chose to stay off site because it is half the price and we will have a suite..So my husband and I will have a separate room....from the kids .:banana:

but when I tried to book a 1 night Harry Potter package it only included 1 day of tickets...:confused3

yes it would include 1 day of tickets, but two days of Front of the Line Access. So for instance you stay your last night at an on-site, check in real early (room may not be available but you can check in to get your Card for FOTL) Go to the parks, stay the night and then go to the parks the next day and have FOTL for two days. I would talk to somebody at Dreams Unlimited Travel to set this up. They don't have fees and they are very knowledgeable.
