We'll be staying at POR Oct. 23rd-29th! We'll be celebrating my daughter's 7th birthday that Wednesday and she already has a reservation for Cinderella's Castle breakfast the day of her birthday.

Now...to start working on dining reservations!!! Where to go...where to go...

We did the FD since it saved us more money than the HO PIN we got in the mail.

We have heard good things about the Hoop-de-Review...is it worth it? The kids have never experienced a dinner show before, but the hubster & I have and have enjoyed them.

We are leaning against the NSSHP just because our kids don't get alot of candy anyway and those tix are kind of expensive for another parade (when they are going to be on overload anyway!) and getting to dress up in a costume. If I'm really shooting myself in the foot on this one talk me into it...the kids are 10, 8 & 6.

We are leaving the two youngest kiddo's with Grandma for the week since in all honesty they wouldn't really remember it, and it's so expensive! We'll bring just the two of them in a few years so they get their trip too. :goodvibes

We just booked POR too, but for a whole year after you. :lmao: I'll be watching for your review. It's looks lovely there. We had our first trip to the World last September and we didn't do MNSSHP either. Too spendy for our large family so it won't be me talking you into it, though I'm sure it's lots of fun. :)

Your life will be forever changed! Congrats and Happy Planning. We will be at POFQ around the same time with my now grown daughters - their first trip was to DL at ages 4 & 5, WDW at 9 & 10. Now they are 26 & 27 and just as excited.
MNSSHP is alot of fun, but too pricey for us as well. Ohana is a great choice for a fun meal with cute activities that engage young children.
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!!

Ooooh, congratulations dear! Prepare to come back totally addicted, and impatiently planning for how soon you can make your NEXT trip. I remember planning our first trip. It gets more fun each time.

I totally recommend Hoop Dee Doo, if you can still get ressies. We do the HDD on our last night at WDW, and it's great because it's a fun way to spend the evening, and we're not back in our resort packing and gloomy because we're leaving lol.

Happy b'day to your DD, and have a WONDERFUL TRIP!:yay:

If this is a birthday trip, I say go for it for the MNSSHP. We did this for our first trip (and our daughter was a few months shy of 4 and doesn't have a sweet tooth) and she loved it! And remembers the trip (which DH was afraid she wouldn't).

Question: Is your daughter into characters? If so, I would recommend the character meals; you get a meet so many and you don't have to wait in a long line (and you're in air conditioning).

As for other places to eat, O'hana, CRT (which you have), Le Cellier (if you're a steak lover like DH and I are)... ummm... those are really our two favorite places.
