Three weeks to go!!!!

We will arrive on Tuesday 30 May (Eurostar direct service). I have booked Beaver's Creek Tavern for 7pm that evening. We will be staying at the Sequoia Lodge. Check in, go to Disneyland Park, see Parade.

Wed 31. Whole day in Disneyland Park. Evening in Disney Village. Panoramagique.

Thursday 1 June, day in Paris, booked Altitude 95 for lunch in the Eiffel Tower

Friday 2, day at Studios. Dinner at Inventions in the Disneyland Hotel. :sunny:

Sat 3 GMFL breakfast at 8am, re-do favourite rides, check out of hotel. May visit Studios to do Tram Tour as this is scheduled to be closed on the previous days. Eurostar departs in the evening.

Sat was the only day we could get GMFL breakfast. We will decide on other restaurants for Wed eve and Sat lunch once we've had a look round and seen menus etc.

Can't wait!! :goodvibes

You arrive the day before us, its approaching quickly now. Can’t wait first time for us! :cheer2:
Sounds like you’ve got it all planned we have also booked our restaurants
Wednesday 31st May ~ Cafe Mickey
Thursday 1st June ~ Inventions
Friday 2nd June ~ hopefully go to Rainforest café but can't book this.
Saturday 3rd June ~ Not sure yet maybe somewhere in the park possible the Mexican one.
Sunday 4th June ~ hopefully going to Paris for the day so will eat somewhere there.
Monday 5th June ~ Home today (late afternoon) but lunch somewhere!

We are also spending a day in Paris never been there before either!
Would like to do the Panoramagique just depends if we have time!

Liz

Sounds great Michelle!! :Pinkbounc As you could only get the one, Saturday is a good day for the GMFL breakfast - you can be in the park well ahead of the crowds!! :thumbsup2

Hi Michelle

We are going to DLP the exact same dates (and the day before you, Liz) We are still toying with the idea of Inventions (whether we can stretch to this as well as Cafe Mickey and Walts)

We are also going to the GMF breakfast on the Saturday as we leave - maybe we'll see you there - is it still lime green ribbons to spot other DIS 'ers? -hasn't been mentioned for a while.

We are also wondering whether to do the tram tour on the Saturday, as you say the only option during our stay.

BTW, we are flying with Easyjet from Liverpool.

That's right!! So you've all got three weeks to get those sorted!! ;)

Hey this may sound incredibly naive, but is it worth booking restaurants in advance? We've been to DLRP 25 times, and have never had to book - although we have not really went to places that require booking...

Also, I'm planning on taking my mum out for a nice dinner one night and I was thinking about Cafe Mickey, which I have been to once before for a lunch...Are there any other restaurants in this kind of price range that you could recommend that I maybe haven't thought of?

I'll make sure to wear a lime green ribbon when I go a week today :D watching sleeping beauty right now getting v v v v hyper!!

Jenna :)

I think you have answered your own question. It all depends on where you want to eat.

I'd better see if I can find some lime green ribbons then!! :teeth: Here's hoping for some fantastic weather, everyone. :sunny:

I've been reading Simon's book, trying to work out what we really want to see/do. My two boys are 8 and 5 and top of their list is Adventure Isle and the train ride round the park, Peter Pan, Casey Jnr and BUZZ! Also the stunt show in the Studios and 8 yr old wants to go on Armageddon (not sure about this).

I want to go on BTM and Haunted Mansion and see the dragon, and all the parades. DH is happy to go with the flow! In Paris we plan to spend the morning in Montmartre, lunch at Eiffel Tower, river boat trip and then maybe a walk round the Ile de cite. We will watch out for pickpockets.

Thanks for allowing me to ramble on...

Michelle

My daughter loves Casey Jnr however this time she wants to go on BTM, I measured her and she is just under the height restriction. (this is without her shoes) .

We have only ever booked once we have arrived and often on the morning of the booking.
If it is important to you or a special occassion then for peace of mind many would rather know they had booked in advance :)

Tried to book Plaza Gardens for breakfast again today for 31st May, but they are still saying can only book 48 hours in advance (it was 24 hours last time I rang) so decided to book dinner at Inventions that evening instead (or maybe as well as!)

Hi Jenna :wave2: and welcome to the DIS! :welcome:
Wow, 25 times!!! how wonderful is that! :yay: :yay:

We had a lovely time in Cafe Mickey on our last trip. If it's a special character meal you're after there is also a character dinner buffet at Inventions in the DLH.
It's more expensive than Cafe Mickey at 46 euros per adult whereas you can get a 3 course menu at Cafe Mickey for 34 euros but it is wonderful food.

my two children libby aged 3 and jake 5 went on armageddon it was scarey but they came of it asking to go back on it, also they done btm three times, but guess what the stunt show scared them to death.

hi going to dlp in july when should I booked resteruants.we want to have dinner in the saloon in frontier land and where should I call to do so ,been to dlp loads but never booked a meal, thanks

You can phone on 00 33 1 60 30 40 50 up to 60 days in advance. I always book in advance but that's because I like to be organised ;) :rotfl: Lots of people wait until they get to DLRP before booking their meals.
