Just booked my first FP+ ever

I waited patiently for the clock to strike 11pm, 30 days out from our trip. All I wanted was to try the new 7 dwarves ride. In my 20 trips to WDW and DLR, I would never have imagined this scenario. I came home from a romantic pre-valentine dinner with my husband only to say, "oh sorry, I have to cut the date short... have to get our fast passes... save me some cheesecake." So I waited and at 11pm I was on. No Seven Dwarves available 30 days out.

This is beyond ridiculous. Disney held up the hoop, I jumped through it and what did I get for it? Buzz, Big Thunder and Space. Gee thanks. I can ride all those at DLR without waiting with baited breath for my stupid 30 day window. I can hit DLR at my leisure and ride those three rides over and over using the old FP system.

We chose to take a one day break from Universal simply to check out 7DMT. I can't get a FP for it 30 days out?? This is my last trip to WDW.

I don't wait more than 20 minutes for any ride. Been doing this too long to fool with lines.

I'm going to be in Orlando thru the 21st. I've been on 7DMT already so it's not that big a deal for us. If I can get another FP for it on your dates I'll pm you and let you know.

Sorry you weren't able to get it. For the first time since it opened I was able to get FP+ 30 days out for Sunday March 15th, but earliest available was 7pm. However, tonight, I can't even get to the 16th of March...stupid calendar isn't advancing. Still showing that today is February 13th. Grrrrrr

It really does. 20 trips under my belt and now I can't book a ride 30 days out. On the upside, dinner at Sullivan's was superb.

From the looks of other threads it seems others are having problems with that date as well.

But just to confirm - you're trying for Monday, 3/16? If so, I was just able to grab 3 for 7p-8p so if you want to coordinate a transfer just PM me.

Which date are you looking for? I might have extras but only 2. I don't think I could copy another one; they are probably all gone. Also, I bet MK will be a low crowd day on 3/17, St Patrick's day. You might not have to wait long if you go early or late.

Disney is really trying to "convince" people to stay onsite. It blows if that's not in your plans.

I see some for early morning and evening on 3/19 and evening on 3/17. Those are the only days that we have booked for MK, so the only ones I can see.

EDIT: I see some individual ones on Monday, 3/16, on the app, not the website. I can only look for me, because I'm the only one not using all 4 days of our tickets right now. I see at least a single slot for the following times. You may have to try to get them for each member of your party individually and overlap the times or copy from one person to another in the app. A lot of these times do overlap within the hour window.

8:25 am, 8:55am, 9:05am, 9:30am, 10:05am, 10:50am, 11am, 11:40am, noon, 12:30pm, 1:45pm, 2pm, 2:50pm, 3:20pm, 3:30pm, 4pm, 4:35pm, 5:25pm, 5:40pm, 6pm, 6:35pm, 7pm, 9:05pm, 9:35pm

I hopped on at midnight last night (not realizing it was a 1am night) and found 6 mine train at 3 different presented times.

What time zone are you in?

Literally just hopped on now and found 6 for Sunday, March 15 at 9:45 and 10:45.

ETA: forgot to close out of MDE, did that and reopened and found 6 for my party size at 8:15pm on Monday the 16th. Not sure what occurred with your MDE.

That's too bad. It's very annoying, I agree. You can ride it at rope drop. It might be a bit of a wait, but the queue has a lot to look at it and I thought it was worth it for the first ride anyway (I wouldn't stand in it again!). Keep trying for the FPs, you never know they might pop up.

Absolutely ridiculous that scheduling one FP is even thread worthy. That's where this has brought us.

OP, I'm with you on the absurdity of needing to stalk your computer at 11 PM, then of finding it was for naught.

I do love that others are trying to help though.

Keep trying!!! I just looked and I see they have a few times available for 7DMT for 3/15. FYI - I am only looking for one person so there may not be times available for more than one.

I don't know what your exact date is but I checked for 4 people and the 15th and 16th were available for 4 just a few minutes ago. I checked a few other earlier dates and there was availability as well. Actually, I was surprise how far back I could go and see it still open. You might want to check again, seems other people show it open as well.

Keep checking. Just because you can't get it right away doesn't mean you won't be able to get them at all. People do change their plans and about 2 weeks before our trip in November, Disney added a bunch of fp's for 7dmt in the system and we were able to get another set for a better day and time. You just have to keep trying.

I realize I'm going to get flamed for this but................ The OP has more than 4000 posts on this board so............this FP issue is a surprise? Given many guests can set FP+ 60 days in advance are you really surprised that your having trouble at 30 days, with what is arguably the most popular ride at the MK?

Does it stink......yeah I guess, but as another poster put it, you can ride..........you'll just have to wait in a line..............which you choose not to do. If the 7DMT is such a driving force that you took a day out of you visit to Universal to "just" do that ride...........why not do it?
