Just booked MMVCP wishes dessert party

Yes, you are assigned a table. We did this last month..it was really very nice. The table had our name on it, and we were right next to the buffet table. When we were done eating, finally, we got up and ambled on over to the railing. There were very few people at the edge at this point and only three of us. I don't remember it getting very crowded at all. But, most people got up to watch the fireworks...many tables were too far back to really see anything up above.


Disney did raise the price to about $23 pp from that $18. Not a huge jump but an increase all the same.

Anyone know if i will see the christmas parade on MVMCP night & the dessert party,, im sure i read 2 parades a night..

The price is $23.42/adult and $12.77/children. We got a time of 8:50pm so we'll see the parade and then head over to the terrace for our table.

I'm excited to do this especially since we have an early ADR at the plaza for 5pm and we'll be hungry by 9pm!!

I just tried to book our dessert party reservations and no such luck. The CM said they had just started booking two days ago and there was no availability during the week we are there (Dec 3-9).

I was just able to book 2 Adults for December 3rd at 8:30 PM.

If this could be paid for with the dining plan, then I can see it being sold out, but it seems odd that it's sold out already. I'll try calling again in the next few days--REALLY wanted to do this to celebrate my graduation.

Does anybody know or anticipate if you do the DP will you still be able to see the Christmas parade on Main Street? I don't want to take away from things I would miss during the party by sitting in a resturant eating desserts. But would like to do the dessert party if there is a way to fit more in.

She told me there are parties those nights, but that it's sold out. I don't think they have all their stuff together because everyone is hearing so many different things. I'll try calling again in a few days, and if it doesn't work out, I'm still at Disney, so I can't really be sad about anything.

Thanks so much to the OP and others that sorted all of this out today. I just was able to book this for our 12/08/09 MVMCP night. I have wanted to do this ever since I first heard about it. Now that I have this reservation, I can honestly say that I couldn't imagine wanting anything more for our itinerary. I am so excited about this trip! I can't wait to surprise my partner with this little party. She will love it.

I just called an was told that the dessert party in only on NON MVMCP nights and Nov 25th was sold out. I don't think they really have a clue what is going on. I tried to call back but they we already closed. I will be calling back tomorrow. So fustarting!!!

I just booked ours as well for December 17th MVMCP night. The first girls I talked to said they do not offer it in December, than I called back and talked to another girl and she told me it has been extended till January 2nd, so she was able to book us. Can't wait!!!!! I do find it a bit expensive though, so I really hope it is worth it!

I see thast several people have booked party nights, but she swore she was lookinh at the system, and it was not showing dessert parties on those nights. I really don't think she had a clue. Mabye I will get somemone tomorrow that does!

ooooo heck! I'm all confused now!!

This is our first trip during december and mvmcp so we kinda wanted to watch the fireworks from sat infront of the castle - but dessert party!! I hate decisions!! What should I do!!

I talked to some one last night that said there were no dessert parties in December! I told her peoplke were booking as we speak. Sge said she didn't know how and that was that!

So why isn't everyone on the same page?

I'm so disappointed. I tried and tried to get in any night between October 17-24. They're all booked. Has anyone had any luck with cancellations? Or has anyone had any luck with a last minute try?
