What started off as a quick three day trip to Sea World has ballooned into a four night five day trip to Universal staying at the HRH! I just found a great rate (don't tell me if it's not:p - $221) for the HRH Club Level. I just couldn't see my kids waiting in line 90 minutes to see Shrek or Jimmy Nuetron. What is the average wait time with in the express line - I'm hoping not more than 15 minutes.

I am really excited and hoping someone can give me info about the club level. Are the rooms standard rooms? I am hoping to see a photo, to get a better idea of the set up and how to arrange ourselves with the two kids. Also, can anyone tell me what the food offerings are? I can pretty guess what the breakfast offerings are, but what about at night. Can you substitute the evenings offerings for dinner? Do they run out of food after a certain time? How about the beer - what do they offer? Are water bottles offered at all? Would love to hear more from someone who has been.

I am so excited for this trip :Pinkbounc ! I know the kids will have a blast. Thanks for any info!

Hi - recently returned from Hard Rock - you are going to LOVE it. I can't help too much with the food offerings...we went by one evening and I got a glass of wine to go ;) but I can assure you that there is TONS of bottled water and small cans of Coke, Sprite, etc. at all times - at least at all times we went in! For breakfast there are TONS of doughnuts and bagels, cream cheese in indiv. servings, a huge bowl of fruit, indiv. boxes of popular cereals and bread for toasting. DD also stopped in two nights for "cookies and milk" which varied from big bakery cookies and brownies to Oreos and Chips Ahoy one night. The club lounge was PACKED the night we stopped by for some wine so people obviously take advantage of it and make it their dinner - I just didn't look at what was offered at that time... but you will be very satisfied, I am certain. The hotel is wonderful! Enjoy!

Thanks so much - I'm so glad about the bottle water, that makes a big difference and the kids will love the doughnuts! Is the room exactly the same as a standard room - size, set up ect.? Thanks if anyone knows!

I booked a deluxe room at the HRH--it is 2 queens and 1 sofa bed. I wanted club level but I need that extra bedding. I did ask about the rooms on club level and was told they are 2 queens like the standard rooms--no deluxe rooms on that level :( If so I would have snagged one in a heartbeat.
I think you did get a good rate. I'm paying $160 w/out tax for my deluxe room and surely with breakfast and some water and snacks will be atleast a $60 value if not more :D

Thanks I'm so glad to hear about the rate. I am a little worried about stuffing us all into the same room (we usually get a suite at a less expensive hotel), but everything else will be so great it will make up for it , right?:p I would have loved a deluxe room - I'm going to try to figure out some way to partition the room with a curtain or something to separate the kids in the beds, so hubby and I can stay up and relax - we don't usually go to bed at 8:))

4greatboys - I think I remember you from the boards last year - we stayed at OKW in December, and I remember you giving me a lot of helpful info - thanks for that. OKW was gorgeous, and the trip was so wonderful I get teary thinking about it! I hope this trip can compare! Thanks again!
