Just thought I'd let everyone know..
For our Nov. 11-17 trip, we decided to go a day early, and not tell the kids until we get to the airport. Well, the Polynesian was sold out for 11/10, so we figured let's try an All-star. It's only one night, and we can find out if we like it.
I called CRO and asked for the AS, best rate available. I got the AS Sports for $43.00 per night.
For <$50 on property...I was a pretty happy camper.

Wow! So is that less than $50 with tax? I think a call to CRO might help-can't hurt. I thought I was doing well with one night at $55 (including tax). Maybe it's the time? 11/22?

Wow that is a good rate. We just did the same thing you are doing. Our flight was getting in at 11 Pm so for one night I thought we will stay at the AS we paid $83 for the night. I am glad we were checking out the next day the room was very small and I would have been nutty by day 3 for sure. The beds are as comfortable as the Poly but I find them hard. have agreat trip I hear the weather in Nov is the best.

With tax it was still under $50. and yes, it is the AP rate.
