Just booked for June 18th for 4 Nights

Whell that is it. We when when I was on leave for in Feb for 2 night’s stayimng at the DCR. We all loved it so mutch we are going agen this time for 5 days staying at the Newport Bay. We are all realy looking forward to it, as it will be nice to spend some time with my famaly when i get back home. This time we have dicided to go on the EuroStar, rather than driving all that way. I have lloked at the Halth Bord option and we think we will also book this as it seam good value for money.

Hi !! Did you think about booking the Admiral Floor ? It is great and the difference in cost is not too much and the extras are excellent. YOu get a specila floor, and a seperate check in counter. If you do a search on Admiral floor I'm sure you 'll find many posts with extra info.

we did the admiral floor, lake view....and the room was fantastic.
Great to use your own check in desk, hardly any queues. The view from the room was amazing, we sat watching the world go by.
The hotel is beautiful aswell...have a great time.

Same as above really - the Newport Bay is a very beautiful hotel but also very large, pay the extra and book the Admiral's floor would be my advice too. I'm sure you'll have a lovely holiday and highly recommend Eurostar - it's the best way to get to the resort IMO.

Ok, you win. I have talken your advice and paid the extra. It was onley £24, but with no lake view.

Believe me...you won't be sorry you booked Admiral Floor ! When you'll be there I'm sure that you'll say....the DIS board members were right....the AF is the best. And for the small diff it is for sure worth it !! Specially when you'll see the big lines for the other check in !! ( AF check in has sometimes a line...early in hte morning, but not as bad as the normal check in !)

I endorse what Martina has said too - for us the small extra cost was worth every penny for just the check-in/out and peaceful breakfast every day

I have now booked the Half Board option. I have bean looking at where we can eat. I have made this list and would like to know what you think. There will be Me, DW and DS (nearly 3). My wife is a bit of a fussy eater.

I am not sure, I just followed the advise that i was given on the board.

The rooms on the Admiral's Floor are Consierge service, which gives you a dedicated check in area for time saving, consierge service (obviously) for luggage, room service, if you're lucky a VIP breakfast, although this seems to be a bit hit & miss, sometimes you do and sometimes you don't.
Various other small perks which just help make the holiday a bit more special and it's a small extra outlay on the standard room charge.

Just to give you an update.

As it will take about an hour or so to get down to London, I have booked to stay in a hotel near waterloo train station. I have also booked to go and see the Lian King show in London. I will not tell my wife until we get down to London.
