Just booked for August 2013! Who else?

We just bought a newer pop-up camper with a/c and lots of other amenities - plus enough space for our family of 5 - so we booked for 11 nights and 10 days at Fort Wilderness! Aug. 18-29, 2013, 395 LOOOOOOOOONG days away - but it will so be worth it when it gets here. 10 whole Disney days - my dream come true! The kids are really excited too. Fort Wilderness looks super fun and they're excited to stay someplace besides POP, which is where we were last August.

Anyone else planning on August 2013???

My mom and I have already started planning for August 2013. We are going on the Dream for a 3 night cruise starting the 1st and then after that, we will be going to WDW for a week.

Going to be there this August and going to see what the bounce back offer is. If its free dining for next August I'm booking then! If not I'm gonna wait a bit, but still going from August 25-September 6, 2013!

We are going in 8/13, too. I can't book yet, because we are DVC and don't want to stay at our home resort. We'll be booking in about January.

But we pretty much have our dates. 8/18/13 will be the day we're going. Either 7 nights or 9, depending on if we dry or fly and what resort we stay at. If we fly it'll be 7 nights for sure. If we drive, we're going to stay a bit longer, because dh will take 2 weeks off work. We'll have 4 days driving (2 each way) 9 days at WDW and a few days with family friends in the Tampa area.

I've been waiting for an August '13 thread to open!!!

We are planning on Aug 18-24 with a BIG group! Also waiting to see what the bounceback is, and we want to check out DVC. Planning on staying at the Boardwalk!

Camping at FW sounds like fun! I would love to do that with my boys some time. We stayed at FW a few times when I was growing up. This year I am spending 11 days in WDW so I know how excited you must be! I cannot wait!

This is going to be our first time going in August. Has anyone been in August before?

After the 8/2013 trip, the only months we've never been to WDW will be January and February. I'll have to remedy that some day

We've gone once in late August and once in early September. The heat doesn't bother us too much - especially when the crowds are low.

We are ok with it, too. We've been twice in July, once in June. It was definitely more pleasant in Oct/early Nov, but I don't want to pull dd out of school next year.

We are going August 3 - 10, 2013 there will be 8 or 9 of us not sure about my niece's friend. Just made the deposit last night. Can't get here soon enough.

We are going from August 3rd - 17th and will be staying at the Art Of Animation resort, we to have only ever been August time. And can honestly say the heat has never bothered us either, I find your so caught up in the magic and fun that you don't seem to care about how hot it is, and there are so many places you can go to escape the heat any way!

Oooooooo we are so excited can't believe we have to wait just over a year though! That will be hard, but I'm pretty sure it will go quick, and I have another year to loose the 4 stone I want to loose, it seems this holiday has already given me the will power I need to loose this weight as I've already lost 2 stone

Also as a treat (or just to be naughty lol) we wanted to try the kitchen sink thing! Does anyone know if they still do this? It's at the beach club resort right?

Haven't booked yet either but we plan on going Aug 17th - Aug 24th!! We will stay at either Boardwalk Villas or BLT!!

Not booked yet but we are planning Aug. 15 - 24! Trying to be a bit flexible depending on getting cheaper flights. Going with a big group and looking forward staying at AoA!

We made out fine in July, so I don't expect Aug. to be any different weatherwise. I could be wrong LOL
