Just booked for Aug 2008 - AKL!

Its official! My AAA TA (The BEST AAA TA EVER!!) just called and gave my price quote for Aug 4-15th, 10 day park hopper tickets, Animal Kingdom Lodge Savannah View. Price I got for my AAA rate not bad for what Im getting - $3747.82 for me and DH. We arent gonna do the dinning plan. I was considering it, until I heard what was and wasnt included. DH and I were supposed to go in December 2007, but due to his deployment had to change it. I am so excited. I cant wait to get back to Disney, and this is our 1st time staying at AKL. And here I thought I was excited when I saw my countdown timer on my PC switch from 1 yr to 11 months and 30 days, Now Im very excited!! How about everyone else? Have you got your trips booked yet? When and where are you staying?

Is that a firm quote? THe reason I ask is I have been told that AAA rates aren't available yet and when I try to check online they are still not showing up. I want to book Jan '08 as soon as it comes available.

If you are a AAA member you can go onto the member site, plug in Orlando and your dates, then you can go into the modifiers and check Disney World resorts. It will give you the room rates available for your dates. Right now when I plug in Jan 2 through Jan 6 it says room not available for all Disney hotels.

Yes thats a firm quote. My AAA TA was on 2 lines. When she called me, Disney was on the other line. She just called me this morning. When did you call and ask? If it was before this morning, then no, they didnt have AAA rates but if you called today and someone told you that, then you got someone who was clueless. Call back again.

Hum, I wonder what I do wrong. I've tried this several times and the regular rates only come up. I log in and everything, but maybe I've always just searched bad dates.

Have you seen regular rates listed on the AAA site too? If its a AAA one, does it specifically say that ? Thanks.

I don't think the AAA rates are in the AAA website system yet, I could only look through Dec 2007. You can get a quote if you call them though.
