Just booked for April

Hi all... just booked my first trip to DLR!! I am super excited!! DD11 will be on Spring Break so we'll be there Apr 25-30. Being that it's the week after Easter I'll bet it will be crowded, but I don't care!!

Like I said, this is our first trip to DLR. We've been to WDW twice (May 05 & Dec 08) and did DCL once (Apr 07). We Disney!!!

We will have a rental car to visit other So Cal locations. We'd like to go to a beach and sight-see in Hollywood/LA one day.

Any tips and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

You'll find your best days (even during the busiest of times) will be Tues-Weds-Thurs........I love going on those days!! The best advice I can offer is to be there at opening, gather FP's & ride some of the popular rides or any Fantasyland rides, take a break after lunch or take in the entertainment, come back later in the day & take advantage of the FP's you got earlier in the day!! We do this every trip & even when the park is packed....we've been able to move from one ride to the next using our FP's.

Your welcome......the thing we usually do on the day we get in is go hang out in DTD & then catch the fireworks in the esplanade between the 2 parks. It makes us feel like we're there with out every going thru the gates!!

We go around that time every year because it's mine and DH's BDay. It's usually not too bad at all. You will have lots of fun!

Well since I'm from Santa Barbara, I'm going to say Santa Barbara, Butterfly Beach and Santa Claus Lane, but we are 2 hours away from DLand
