Just booked first cruise for 2017, now what?

So while my wife and I didn't enjoy our first and only cruise 10 years ago on RCL, we've decided to book a 4-day Bahama cruise on DCL for Feb 2017. But now I have no idea what to do. Are there trip specific boards, date milestones, pre-sailing research, anything I should be doing? Thanks all!

First off, Congratulations! We booked our first cruise in Feb of 2017 as well!

I do know you can usually start booking excursions and whatnot about 75 days before your sail date, so we have a little time.
