Just booked CRT lunch, drop Akershus breakfast?

I just decided to upgrade to the deluxe dining plan(just couldn't decide which ADR's to keep) and have added CRT lunch the day we arrive. I originally had Akershus breakfast at 8 am on our EPCOT day. Should I drop it and change to Chef Mickey's or keep it as is to get into EPCOT early? My 5 year old daughter likes princesses but doesn't really need 2 meals but her favorite princess is Ariel who have only seen at Akershus.

I would keep the Akershus breakfast, if you have the credits for it. If Ariel is her favorite princess, why not?

you have done Ariel's Grotto yet. It's a great interaction with Ariel - better than the character meals. The line can get a bit long in the afternoon. Here is my daughter with Ariel this past summer.

I was surprised but Ariel was at our CRT lunch that trip also. That's the only time out of three lunches there. You'll have a better chance of seeing her at your breakfast at Askerhus.

Thanks for any input. May split a few counter service meals for lunch or use snacks .

^^^ I agree 100% with the above poster. Keep both! CRT and Arkeshus. That way she'll definitely get at least one (possibly two) pictures with Ariel. Bring her to Ariel's Grotto too.

I'd say keep both because for CRT she'll get the experience of being in the castle and she'll love that. She'll also get to meet Cinderella and some other characters like possibly the Fairy Godmother. For Akershus she'll get the experience of meeting Ariel and a lot of the other princesses.

Another vote for both, they are different enough in surroundings, food and princesses for all the party to be happy and there are never enough princess meals for the average five year old girl!!

your Mama Melrose ADR is part of a Fantasmic Package. You have spaced out your other ADRs very well. That's a good list of restaurants. Your kids will enjoy the variety of characters that you have planned and HDDR can be really fun for people of all ages.

I'd keep both reservations for now, just in case you have some sort of travel delay that results in missing CRT for lunch on arrival day. I believe you have 48 hours to cancel Akershus without a penalty, so it looks like you would have plenty of time to cancel if the CRT goes off without a hitch. I'd just make up some sort of back up ADR in case you cancel Akershus.

We have done Akershus lunch along with Dinner at CRT in one trip. It was I okay b/c dinner is only Cindy at CRT ... no other princesses. I don't think I'd make 2 princess character meal reservations again though b/c it was a bit of overkill for us.

Another vote for keeping both. Different experiences/ambience. I read the above comment and laughed at my desk (um, while eating soup lol). I booked CRT dinner and Akershus lunch this past trip and dd3 didn't understand why we couldn't have a princess meal EVERY DAY.

Hi there - We're doing both when we're there in a month, so I'd say do both ;-) The only potential problem I see with your plan is doing CRT on your arrival day. Any chance you won't make it to the ADR b/c they'll charge you ($10/person I think?) if you don't get there or don't cancel at least 24/48 hrs in advance (can't remember which one CRT is).
