:cool1: For Friday March 18th at the 6pm show....front row seats centre stage....Hope its worth the money.....going with DD, DN and friends ......DD can't wait to see the show.....:flower:

You Guys will Love It!

We've seen it three times now!LOL

Enjoy the show, plus even though you are not allowed a camera, have one ready without flash, just in case ;)!

1. Don't buy the La Nouba DVD, it doesn't do justice to the show.
2. If you want to take pictures without flash, you will need a very sharp lens and high ISO setting. Which for me means an SLR with battery grip (as a counter balance) and an L lens (which is longer than my forearm)... which means: I can't take a decent picture, therefore why bother.

You'll have a great time..
We are Cirque junkies....
Have seen the two in Vegas, one in Toronto and La Nouba at DTD.
We will see Ka in Vegas at the MGM this summer.
I don't think you'll be disappointed :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

Sounds great! We are going too on Feb 12th...yikes, thats next week :earseek: . We grabbed the first row on the first level...those are my fav seats anywhere, lots of leg room....good thing too now that DS is in a cast, lol

Have fun!

We have been to 3 different Cirques and La Nuba is the Best!!!

I just booked ours today!!! We are going June 21, 2005 and got section 103 row G seats 10,11,12,13. I hope these are good seats I have looked at the seating chart and they look good I just wish I could see a photo of the seating in the theater I looked online and have not been able to find one. Any help?? Seating charts are ok but I am a person who likes to see the seating in a photo. I got lucky because we leave on the 22nd and that was the only show we could go to since they don't have shows during the rest of the days we are there.

FYI regarding the photos - I almost had my camera taken away by the staff there because I tried taking a picture of my friend and me in front of the red curtain before the show even started! Be careful to not get caught if you are taking pictures - they can and will confiscate the film and the camera.

Otherwise, I absolutely loved the show. The show had me in awe the entire time. I one point I was so amazed I honestly wanted to cry - I think it was a mixture of pure excitement emotions surging through my body, and the fact that I am a huge Cirque fan plus I was in WDW! Cannot get better than that.

We plan to see LaNouba on our trip in October. I would like to buy the tickets as soon as possible to get the specific seats I want. The website doesn't allow you to buy seats until 6 months out. Do you know if I can call the theater directly and buy tickets earlier?

DW, DD and I are going to be down there for our first trip home (Saritoga Springs) between the 28th Feb and the 08th of March. 21 more days! CAN'T WAIT! How much are the tickets again and is it to late to get a good seat. last year we went to Sea World and kind of blew the budget that year and so we didn't go and see them. I would like to see if we can do it this year. Any advice would be great.

No - they actually cannot sell tickets at all before the 6 month date for Florida.

I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that they range from $65-$95 - but really, no seat in the entire auditorium is a bad seat.

As to if you are too late, the best I can reccommend is that you call Cirque directly or check their website (it would be faster) at Cirque Du Soleil

I purchased 1st balcony center 1st row. I have purchased these tickets now for 2 shows and am so happy with them that I will continue to buy them. They are not the most expensive, but are perfect because you do not have to strain your head to see anything up high, the actors dance right in front of you when they are on the move (I literally could have touched them) and if you need to sneek out (like kids have to go to the bathroom), you have quick and easy access. I love these seats - and love the La Nouba show.

Katter:

I'm positive you'll have a wonderful time at cirque. Coincidentally, I have front row seats on the same night at you and your dd. I'll be there with my dm and ds. Look forward to seeing you.

Just a word of advice if you sit TOO close you may have a hard time seeing everything. A lot of stuff happens up in the air and if youre right at the bottom your neck may be strained trying to catch it all. In addition, youll miss the "parade" at the beginning of the show where all the characters walk around on the carpet that separates the 100 from the 200 sections.

We had, what I consider the best seats in the house... Section 203 row A right next to the mixing board. I think it was 203, but anyway.. The seats were front row in the 2nd section middle right next to the mixer. Saw everything - was perfect.

That's exactly where I sat and they were perfect!

The above link is the seating chart.
There is no Row A in Section 203. Did you mean row AA? Also Section 203 Row AA - IS Category 1, the most expensive seat.
Can you please tell me the exact seats you are referring to as the best. I would definitely like to get them for our next trip. We've never seen this show, but our next trip is for our 30th anniversary and I'd like to get my DH those tickets.

Section 204, Row AA, Seats 1 and 2 were what we had.

What's a mixing board? And what would be the best seats in category 2 seating?

I also had section 204, row AA, seat 3. I must be mistaken - I did buy cateogry 1 seats. I think I am getting confused with the price from the Vegas show I went to - it seems like a bargain to pay $95 for a ticket when I paid $150 for the ones in Vegas (the seats in Vegas were in the exact same place).

If you want a good seat in Cat. 2, I would recommend Sec. 202, row AA, seats 16-19. Those would still be excellent seats - but then again, I don't really think there are really bad seats in the show.

Mixing board is the thingie they use to mix all the sounds together. Basically, the spot where the mixing board is the ULTIMATE sound spot for both surround and stereo separation.

If you can get the sides of this spot, you'll get the best audio and visual experience (the mixing engineer SHOULD also have THE ultimate view of the entire presentationin order to do his/her job properly.)
