Just Booked Christmas Trip...Many Questions

So excited to finally be going to DL for Christmas. We will be arriving Dec 20 and staying outside DL until the 23. Planning on DLH 23-26. Going to Jet Propulsion Laboratory tour Dec 21 but do not have plans after that. We will be celebrating my 50th and my sons' 21st birthday and hopefully my DD getting a permanent position with Disney after her internship. Right now my only plan is DL Christmas morning before it gets too crowded. What would be a nice restaurant for Christmas day or eve? Any other thoughts for the weekend would be greatly appreciated? We are used to going to WDW for Christmas but I know DL works differently.

What wonderful things to celebrate! We love going during Christmas and we'll be doing it again this year. Although we don't actually go on Christmas Day (someday I'd love to). We'll be there the 28th through Jan 2nd (and yes, including New Year's Eve). Anyway, keep your eye out for a new Christmas super thread that will have all kinds of info/talk/photos about DL at that time of year. For a restaurant on Christmas day, what about the Blue Bayou? That's always a very special place for us (we've only done it a few times).

When does your dd's internship end? What has she been doing during the internship? My teenage dd is interested in doing an internship with DL.

Thanks. I have looked at the Christmas thread before, it has great stuff. We usually go to Epcot Christmas Eve and DHS the next day to see the lights (sad they are gone). DD's internship and the beginning of Jan. She is a show programmer. I'm looking forward to all the different things to see this year.
