Hello, got a good hour for Chef mickey's for lunch. AFterwards while we are in the Contemporary hotel, can we do anything to sightsee...like take the elevator to the top floor to look at the view? anything else we can do while we are waiting for MNSSHP to begin?

Thanks!

They have an arcade that you can visit. There are also watercraft rentals available at the marina.

How much time are you looking to kill?

You could easily monorail it over to the Poly and GF to wander around or take a boat over to Ft Wilderness. The view from the 4th floor of the contemporary is nice but there's not much to see mid-day.

Shop ! Or take a walk across the pool area to the marina and get a ferry over to the MK. It will kill more time then just taking the monorail.

ooooo, I like the idea of taking the ferry over to MK!!! TY!

After lunch at Chef Mickey you can sight see the rest room you will be running to afterwards. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao: I'm just kidding... Well sorta. LOL

Seriously though, I would consider taking the boat over to the Wilderness Lodge and take a look over there for a bit. Afterwards take the boat back to the Contemporary and hop on the monorail over to the Grand Floridian and take a look around there and then walk the very short trail over to the Polynesian and look around at that resort and afterwards head back over to the MK. If you don't have a couple of hours to spare I'd skip the WL but go see the GF and the Poly. A nice way to recover after eating at CM. LOL (again only kidding).

Catch the little Steamboat Willie boat(thats what we call it, because it favors it)too Fort Wilderness and check out the stables where they keep many of the horses and ponies that perform in the shows and parades. Some of the ponies are the very ones that pull Cinderella's coach. Then head back by same boat, or walk a nice nature trail(its paved)from nearby the stables back to Wilderness Lodge. If lucky, you may see deer along the way. We have been as close as 10 feet away from 3 deer along this trail. This will lead you near the bus stop at WL. The Lodge IMO is the most beautiful resort on property and worth the time to check out. In the main lobby, you will see Native American artifacts, hear faint western themed music in the background, and see a jaw dropping view of beauty. Be sure to take a few mins and head towards The Carolewood Pacific Room and check out a couple train cars from Walts personal backyard train that he used to ride friends and neighbors around on. Once you get to this point, you may decide to take a rest in the big, comfy leather chairs by the fireplace
