So not everything needs to be booked 180 days in advance. :teeth: It also helped that I wanted a later time - around 11 AM - as we like to do Chef Mickey's for brunch, not breakfast...not big breakfast eaters.

Tried to get Whispering Canyon ressies for dinner, and was less successful ...nothing before 8:40, which is too late with kids. Ah well, maybe something will open up. Chef Mickey's was the only "must do" on the kids' dining list.

The reason I didn't book further out is that this trip was only decided on last week...there was a Southwest fare too good to pass up.

Anyway, I'm very happy!

:thumbsup2 Awesome! The last minute trips are so fun...we did a surprise "Hurricane Katrina" evacuation trip last year- I booked 2 weeks in advance and got almost everything I wanted. Have a great time!

Try Whipering Canyon for lunch.
About the same menu and less expensive.
Do an early entry morning at MK and then take a boat to WL for a Whispering Canyon lunch. Ask for wooden nickles for the kids :)
