We have a water view room booked. What section do you CB experts suggest I request?

Thanks!

I really enjoyed our stay in Jamaica. The walk from our building to the bus stop was about 3 minutes, to the quiet pool was about 1 minute and the walk to Old Port Royale was about 5 to 7 minutes (depended on if we make a stop to watch the fish).

We have also stayed in Martinique and the walk was about the same.

We really enjoyed our two stays at the CBR and hope you do too!

I AGREE COMPLETLY! We stayed in Jamaica with a Garden View. Just over the bridges and your at OPR, trot across the parking lot and you're at the bus stop.

Another vote for Jamaica. We enjoyed our stay there.

I think they're all great -- Trinidad South is farther out than the others, but some prefer its location for the quietness. We've stayed in Martinique and Trinidad North, but all the areas seem great. I have lots of photos in my signature below -- also check out the FAQ thread for CBR.

Water view at CBR can be wonderful, but like all the resorts it can also mean a view of a pool. Frankly, at CBR even a pool view would be nice, but I thought I'd add that info.

Have a great trip -- wish we were there now!!

another vote for Jamaica. we had an easy walk right over the bridge to the main building--it was a nice location.

We stayed in Jamaica last Sept, and absolutely loved it!!! Block 45, 15 second walk to pool and beach area, 2 min walk to the bridge. 40 second walk to the bus stop, and we always got dropped off first.

Loved it. Booked POR for next year and thinking of changing!!!

Broken record here - Jamaica was great! Prettiest color buildings too :)
The walk to the food court in the morning was gorgeous!

I'm going to be the odd one in the bunch and say Aruba. Ask for building 52. I wish I could remember our room numbers because we were literally right next to the pool and beach. You walked out our doors and the pool was to the left and the beach to the right, just a few feet away in each direction. The bus stop was about 2-3 minutes away and the scenic walk to the food court was only about five minutes. My mom and aunt shared a corner room that looked right out onto the water. It was beautiful! :goodvibes

We requested Jamaica, and we landed in a corner room in Barbados.
I couldn't have been happier.

It was just a quick stroll around the lake to Old Port Royale, and we were the last bus stop on the way to MK, so it was only about a 10-15 minute ride (for which we never had to stand...even during the crazy, over booked, last week of August).

We were just a quick hop across the parking lot from our bus stop, and just across the street from the customs house.

CBR looks much bigger on paper, in my opinion.
When you walk on the inside of the buildings around the lake, it isn't a bad walk to anywhere from any section. And my kids were happy to walk anywhere just to see all of the different kinds of lizards scooting about.

I think the fact that CBR is a more spacious property helps keep it from seeming crowded, even when it is at capacity.
