Just booked BW concierge for August!!! Need Assurance/Advice!

There is so little information about this resort, and we've never stayed in the Epcot area resorts, so I was wondering if you all had any advice. I'm still a little on the fence about choosing this resort, as I've read a few times that people don't feel the Disney "ambiance" here. That's pretty important to us, so I guess I'm also asking for reassurance that we made the right choice!!! TIA!

I think you made a great choice, at least I hope so because we will be at the BWI concierge in August too! When are you going? If you do a search, there is a BWI info thread that has lots of good advice and should ease your mind.

I love the Boardwalk. It has a charm all it's own and the concierge service we've had has been wonderful.

Thanks for the support!!! We'll be there from the 23rd to the 1st. Tough making this decision (as many know), but I think this is the right choice for us.

WE LOVE THE EPCOT RESORTS! They are all wonderful, but I think the BWI is my favorite! I think it is sooooo WDW! There is superb themeing in that area IMHO! When you check-in ask for an EPCOT view...then you can see Illuminations from your balcony at night!

Thank you, Sazzo'sMommy! This is exactly the enthusiasm I was looking for to help us get excited about our trip! I'm especially glad you like the theming, because, as I've already mentioned, we really enjoy being immersed in our resort's theme. I find I'm always second guessing our resort choice. We really loved AKL, so it's difficult to let go and try something else that may not be a "sure thing," especially when the vaca is so expensive!

You have definitely made the right choice. We have stayed at the BW the past three years and we absolutely love it. We are going back in October! I love being able to walk to Epcot, MGM, or take the boat to either one. There is so much to do there and we could see both Wishes and Illuminations from our balcony on the nights we were too tired to stay at the parks. Also, every year we look for our favorite CM- his name is Al and he is so helpful. Tell him we said hello! Have a great trip!
