Just booked AS Movies and CBR

I just booked these 2 resorts for a 4-night quick "budget" trip in Dec. We have never been to WDW during the Christmas season and can't wait to see the decorations and special activities. Any suggestions for sections at either of these 2 resorts? I'm a little nervous about the All-Stars. I'm not sure what to expect for that low a rate. I guess if we don't like it ,we can move to CBR for the entire trip. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. Oh yes, this trip will be just me and hubby. Thanks!

I personally like Martinique, building 25 at CBR because its close to the food court, main pool, shops, arcade, sit down restaurant, and the standard views have NO parking lot views. It has a beautiful sandy beach behind (or in front of it, depends how you look at it ) and has a bus stop very close by. And even though its close to these things, its still very quiet and peaceful. In my opinion, it's the *perfect* location at CBR.

However, these other buildings are very good too!

I don't think you'll be dissappointed by the All Star Movies. I would try to get the Toy Story section. It is close to the main building and pool but isn't as noisy as the Fantasia section. We stayed there Easter 2001 and loved it. We were in Buzz's building and the walk to the bus stop and food court was a breeze. Speaking of the Food Court... it's great! Great selection and prices. The resort and rooms were very neat and clean. I think you will enjoy the magical atmosphere that we did when we were there.

Thanks so much for your replies and links to your websites. The pics of the resorts are great! I have a feeling we might do the 4 nights at CBR if I can just get a slightly lower rate. Right now I used the Disney Club 20% discount. It's kind of early for anything else. Again, Thanks!

At ASMo we stayed at the Mighty Ducks building, it was fine, but right across from the pool so it was a bit noisy.

At CBR we stayed in Trinidad South, it's a ways walk to everything, but we liked being secluded.
