Should I purchase them soon through the Universal site? Do they send them to me, or will I get them when we check in? I would like to take advantage of the AP discount on park tickets for the rest of my family. If I order one AP online, will the discount on the other tickets be automatically applied?

thanks!:)

To buy extra tickets with an AP the pass needs to activated. That means picking it up, go through the gate, and then purchase extra tickets at gate price. I have heard you can pick up your AP and buy tickets at the same time without going through the gate.

You can purchase ahead and have them shipped or do will call pickup. I would do pickup and get the extra tickets then.:thumbsup2

Are gate prices alot higher for 4 day tickets than buying them online?

From the Universal ticket site: "Save $20 off the gate price on all multi-day tickets".

So you'll have to put that $20 back into the ticket cost, then subtract the AP discount to see what your price will be with the AP. See which one makes more sense to you. (and then check out places like Undercover Tourist and Maple Leaf Tickets, etc, to see if *their* discount prices are even better than the $20 off or the AP discounted price)

Does anyone know if Annual Passes are more expensive to buy at the gate, than if I would purchase it ahead of time on-line?

I have a crazy question...would it work to pick up your AP ticket and activate it, then go back to your room and get on the computer to purchase the rest of your tickets with the activated AP? Just a thought...

Same price.

Not sure what the advantage of that would be and I'm also not sure that it can be done online. You could call, though, but since you are at the park, you may as well just go to the ticket booth and get them.

I guess I was under the impression that you got $20 off if you purchased tickets online. If they are the same price then that would be a silly thing to do.

The AP discount is off the gate price, not the online price.

Undercover Tourist is VERY competitive...plus, prices include TAX, and SHIPPING is free.

4-DAY P-2-P ticket is $150.95 (or $149.95 through the MouseSavers Newsletter link)

(I've bought from them several times with absolutely no problems!)
