I just booked my reservation for Newport Bay Club December 17-19! I booked through Orbitz and it said that my reservation included Tickets, Breakfast and Half board. Now being American (I had no idea what half board meant) I did some research and saw Half Board meant free Dinner (is this correct?) Now beyond that I do have some questions that I'm hoping ya'll can help me with!
1. Where am I allowed to eat with this Half Board?
2. How do I get a Disney confirmation to link to DLP MyDisneyland account?
3. Am I going to have "problems" with the park tickets, breakfast and Half Board since I booked through Orbitz?
4. Since I arrive at CDG at 8:15am I hope we get to DLP by 11 (How do we get from CDG to DLP quickest?) The Free Breakfast is that every day 17,18 & 19 (or just two days and if it is since we would miss breakfast the first day can we use it on the last instead)
5. Where can the Free Breakfast be used?

That's all I can think of for now but I'm sure more will come to me in time!:rotfl:
Thank you for all your help! I really feel lost trying to plan especially since I can't call from the US (so expensive!!)

Sorry, can't answer most of your questions - but if you're only going to get to the hotel by 11 you'll miss breakfast that day! So you'll get it on the mornings of 18th and 19th.

Evening meals can be taken at loads of different places - sometimes you have to add some extra on though as it is only valid to a particular value. It depends on which meal plan you have - premium or standard - see here for more details. http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/guest-services/meal-plans/

Getting from CDG to Disney - there is a shuttle bus, you could get the train or a private taxi. I used RS transport for a private taxi and it cost 120 euros return - not bad if there's a few of you as it costs around 40 euros each return by shuttle bus which you have to wait for, wait while it goes round all the other hotels etc. Whereas the taxi driver is waiting for you on arrival. Once through customs etc, the journey is only about half an hour in light traffic.

Can't see why you should have problems with your booking whoever you booked it through - a booking is a booking surely?

Have fun and come back with all your other questions!

Breakfast will be at your hotel. It is a continental style buffet with meats, cheeses and fruits although now that NPB is 4 star there have been reports of hot items as well. You will be allocated a breakfast slot, but don't worry about sticking to it - go when you are ready. You will get Premium half board vouchers, 1 per person per night of your stay and can use them at any time. If you want to dine in a restaurant above your category you can use them at face value towards the cost of the meal. I would recommend Chez Remy, Walts or Blue Lagoon. You can book by phone about 6 weeks before.
There really isn't much advantage in linking your booking to your my disney account for DLP. If the booking says tickets these will be given to you at check in along with your half board meal vouchers.
I use RS transport too! I find them cheaper and quicker than the shuttle bus. If you request a shared transfer it will be rare that you have to share with another family.

If you booked new port bay you get Plus half board voucher.
Premium half board voucher are only for Disneyland hotel.

Thanks for all the information guys! I got the Disney confirmation number but it keeps giving me an error when I try and link to my account!
I'm wondering isn't there some sort of high speed train that takes you from CDG to DLP (I vaguely remember hearing about this but I don't know anything about it).
Is there a list of what restaurants we can go to on the Plus Half Board Vouchers

As I understand it, while the high-speed train (tgv) is very quick (about 12 minutes) once you're actually on it, it can be a bit confusing to get to it! See here for details http://parisbytrain.com/tgv-train-cdg-to-eurodisney/. You can book online in advance which is cheaper but then you are restricted to the train you've booked so have to work out whether it would be convenient for your flight - and may miss it if your flight is delayed. And then at Chessy you'd have to get the shuttle bus with all your luggage to the hotel. So, it may be quicker but not by much - we landed at quarter to ten and were at our hotel by quarter to eleven and no walking.

Which is why I book a taxi - door to door, no waiting for the next one and they'll wait if your flight is delayed!

I’ve been looking into half-board myself recently as I’ve booked our first trip that includes half-board this year.

From the Disneyland website (small print, terms & conditions), I found the following information concerning half-board plus:

Disneyland Park
Plaza Gardens Restaurant
Restaurant Agrabah Café
Blue Lagoon Restaurant
Silver Spur Steakhouse

Disney Studios
Restaurant des Stars
Bistrot Chez Rémy

Village
The Grange at Billy Bob's Country Western Saloon
Café Mickey
The Steakhouse
Annette's Diner

Hotels
Chuck Wagon Café (Cheyenne)
La Cantina (Santa Fe)
Crockett's Tavern (Davy Crockets)
Manhattan Restaurant (New York)
Parkside Diner (New York)
Yacht Club (Newport)
Cape Cod (Newport)
Beaver Creek (Sequoia Lodge)
Hunter's Grill (Sequoia Lodge)

I hope that’s correct, maybe someone can confirm?

While choosing your restaurants, I’d recommend considering restaurant opening times, some of them are only open for lunch or not open at all several days / week.

I’ve also looked into the transportation issue for myself recently. I’ve taken the Magical Shuttle (Bus) and the TGV (high-speed-train) before. I prefer the TGV because it’s quick, but as mentioned above, it’s a bit complicated to get on and complicated to get tickets (at least I think so). The Magical Express is easy and comfortable, but can take it’s time. For our trip, I now checked which option will get us there the fastest and lets us stay the longest, considering arrival and departure time of our flight, so we’ll now do TGV in and Bus out…
