Just booked AKL Savanna view

I have been trying to figure out how they came up with my total for the trip I just booked. I have 2 Savanna view rooms for 7 nights, 2 adults, a jr, and 2 children. 8 day park hopper plus for $6319.19. I had a 30% off code but that is not what I came up with. Does anyone know if that is a good price?

We would need to know what dates your are going(value season, peak, holiday, etc) to help with a dollar approximate.

I got $3137.00 for 2 adults, 1 junior and 2 two year olds with 8 day park hoppers. With 30% off it would be $2196.xx.

It looks like you did NOT get a 30% off code unless something's been changed or updated or the kids ages i've calculated are wrong. As long as they're not 3 yet, then my figures should be pretty dead on.

The price seems like rack rate to me.

Of course, if you went with a standard view room with same options it would be $2625.00 and the possibility of getting a free upgrade may get you to a savanna view room at no cost. Since you're going during value season, the odds are really in your favor you'll get upgraded as the lodge won't be full. We've been there 3 times during value season and we've always gotten a free upgrade.

Thanks - I will call them. I was on the phone for over an hour while they tried to make changes to my reservation. We originally had a suite but wanted to change to two rooms. I didn't have the code with me and the cm said that our original reservation didn't have a code on it. He didn't offer to look it up, he said he would book it and then I could call back. But then I asked if he could just look it up and he said he did. Now I have to find where my husband put the code.

I recieved my confirmation email and noticed that park hoppers are not listed. I ran the numbers and with 30% off I get $6206.65 so i guess and what I got on the phone was $6319.19 so I guess the difference is tax. Who know.

That doesn't make sense. Your numbers are higher than mine and that's without a discount. Two rooms came out to $5913.02 at rack rate for the dates you provided. That was with 8 day park hoppers and a savanna view room w/o bunk beds. The price i mentioned includes tax; most of the offers on the site will include tax, if not all.
