Just Booked ADR's for Sept in preparation

Since it sounds like the free dining plan is definately going to be happening I decided I would book our meals just in case.

I got everything I wanted except instead of Cinderella's Gala Feast we booked CRT because the 1900 Park Fare is going to be under rehab and they are moving it to the GFC as a preplated meal instead of buffet.

So we got

Sept 15 - Chef Mickey's @ 6:20
16 - Fantasmic Dinner package @ 4:30
17 - Ohana @ 5:45
18 - Playhouse Play N Dine @ 11:50
19 - Garden Grill @ 6:00
20 - CRT @ 1:15
21 - Crystal Palace @ 6:35.

Most of them I could pick the time I wanted. It wasn't hard at all to pick the time we wanted. So I got all the times I wanted that easily. I suspect it will be a bit harder after the 12th though lol.

We also booked the BBB for the 20th @ 10 am for our lunch at CRT. Is that enough time you think ? I figured it should be lots of time since we have ADR's for 1:15

Thanks for your message. I'd just kind of given up on making ADRs for Cinderellas because since I didn't call at 180 days, I thought there was no way we'd get in. But after seeing your message I thought I'd give it a shot. I just made all my ADRs and I got Cinderellas at 12:20 on 9/20 for a party of 12 all at one table. I can't believe it. I'm totally doing the happy dance. On our last trip I tried for weeks to book it, called right at the 180 day mark and didn't get in. I kept trying hoping for a cancellation and we never got it. I thought I'd never get in for my large party. After all my years going to Disney World this will be our first time at CRT! I'm so excited! I got:

Chef Mickey's 9/18@ 5
Boma 9/19 @ 8:10

That was exactly what I thought. I didn't even have it on my list but when we were talking about the Cinderella's Gala Feast being moved I mentioned that I would love CRT but figured there was no chance. She said it is Sept your booking so we could check. ANd then she gave me a complete choice of times !

It looks like we will be there the same time. We have 1:15 ADR for a group of 6. If you see us say Hi lol. We will have 2 - 2 yr olds with us dressed up as princesses. We are doing BBB before our CRT lunch.

They will probably look like twins since they have similar hair and size. And both are 2 lol

When you booked CRT did you have to pay for it on your credit card or just give them your confirmation number and tell them you were planning on the free dining coming out? I want to call for my ADR's but I'm nervous of this one because I don't want to get into refunds etc. Plus the trip is on DH's credit card not mine so I'd be using one that didn't match up with our confirmation number. Can you tell I'm new to this?

Because I haven't booked the trip yet I had to prepay the meal and when we make our reservation I call back and add my reservation number that will show them I have the dining plan and then they will refund the money I prepaid.

It does suck to have to deal with refunds but since I have gotten a refund from them once before and it was quick I wasn't worried. And it doesn't matter if your package credit card is a different one from the one you book the ADR with or not. They don't care how many you use as long as it's authorized.

I just booked CRT during "free dining", but I don't have any reservation (i.e. no dining package). I had to pay in full by credit card. The CM said as soon as I book my package (said to call tomorrow for free dining), I could call back and they would refund my card. So with no dining package booked, it sounds like you have to pay in advance.
