Just before Christmas

We are thinking that next year we'll forego regular Christmas presents and instead go to DW the week before Christmas. The dates would be Dec. 15-22, 2007.

Are we crazy to go then? is it going to be cold? any thoughts?

Excellent time to go. Weather is warm during the day and light jacket cool at night. Decorations are wonderful and when we went the second week of December the crowds were low. I want to go that time frame next year also.

We went at that time a few years ago and I have pictures of a completely empty street in Frontierland. Beautiful Christmas decorations and almost no people...it was great!!!

Ditto what hockey mom said. I think it's a WONDERFUL idea!!!

If you've never been to WDW during the holiday season, it's a MUST at least once, just to see all of the wonderful decorations!

In addition, it will be 'value' season which means you will have a good chance at getting a MYW package at a discount!

I would love to forego all this Christmas madness and shopping and go to WDW at this time. It will be beautiful there and spending time with your family is what Christmas is all about!
