Called our guide this morning and bought!

We got an October use year at SSR. I'm so happy because we are going to use our points for F&W each year.

Here's my question, has anyone ever used points and resort hopped for seven days straight? I know it sounds weird, but the I'd love to see multiple resorts and its just two of us and we travel fairly light.

Maybe seven resort changes would be a lil much, but 3, BWV, SSR and VWL really interests me.

Here's to many happy trips.

And if you want and hit them all on one trip good luck. I don't really think you can get a feel for the resort by only staying a day or two.

I'd take more time at each resort. If you only stay for one night, you'll miss a lot that each resort has to offer. You should definitely spend a couple of days at each resort to get of feel of the theming, restaurants, etc.

Just remember, as a DVC member you have A LOT of years ahead of you for Disney Vacations .

Now, I confess, I have a list of resorts we want to try and different times of the year to visit. I have a really hard time not planning them all right now for this year and next.

We stayed at OKW for most of our trips with a couple of BWV slipped in, but we've decided last year to start checking out all of the other resorts. But our hearts are still with OKW.

Welcome Home! We will be at Vero this friday, Boardwalk on tuesday, then port orleans on sat. And at Vero we will be staying 2 nights in an inn room, then 2 nights in a 1bedroom. Wasn't my plan to hop around this much, but better than being at home!

We usually "resort hop" by staying at another non-DVC resort on the weekends and paying cash. As you can see from my signature, I only have a few resorts left ... including your new "home" .

I just joined this afternoon.....how did you get an October use year??? Did you ask? I didn't even think to ask and my guide just said I would have a December use year. Should I call back and see if I can change it???

When I was talking with my guide I told him we liked going to the F&W each year, and that is what our points would be used for. He said he had some October UYs left and those would work alot better than December for the F&W.

Bonus was we get 2006 points to bank for next years F&W, so we'll be either staying longer than a week or upgrading our room each year for three years!

Your guide was absolutely right. October is a better use year for you than December, but September might have been perfect.
