We were at WDW from June 12-18 and it was great thanks to all the great tips I picked up here on the boards.
-The crowds we no where near as bad as I feared. I think the longest wait time was 30 minutes and that was to get into the Living Seas
-The weather was great. The only rain we encountered was on the 12th thanks to the tropical storm.
-All the CMs we dealt with were very helpful and friendly.
-We never had a stroller incident.
-We only encountered a handful of rude people and the only reason they stand out is because there were so few of them and most of them were at our hotel.
-We walked into Fantasmic as they were announcing it was standing room only. A CM told us we could try to go down and find seats when a woman in the stands waves us over and there was room for all 5 of us.
-Fastpasses are awesome! We had to wonder why anyone would do standby for the big rides after that
- DD7 & DD4 loved the pirate cruise
-DS2 and I got to ride in the front of the monorail while the girls looted. What an amazing view!
-Thanks for talking about the barber shop. DS2 got his hair cut on Friday afternoon and we were the only ones there. I was expecting at least some kind of wait but we walked right in. Great haircut too!
- DD7 was the kid that never rode a coaster but wanted to do RNR. She ended up doing all the other coasters first (except the Goofy's Barnstormer) and she did absolutely love RNR. The only ride she had problems with was primevil whirl. DH took her on it and she got thrown around and had a knot on her head
but she thought it was fun up to that point.
-DD4 who normally is my daredevil hated TOT and Dinosaur but loved Space Mt. Her favorite ride was as she called it "the happy ride. You know the one with all the singing dolls"
Yeah I'm sure we all know that would be IASW
-I am a chicken but DD7 talked me into TOT and it was my favorite ride until I did RNR
Can it get any better than those two?
-DS2 was on a mission with the autograph book. He really got into that. Turns out his favorite character of the trip was the Green Army Man. He followed him around trying to get his attention but he went on break so I had to ask if he'd be back out. When all the other characters came out, he wasn't one of them so one of the handlers went back and brought him out right to DS. He thought that was great
-All 3 kids had a blast doing kidcot at World Showcase. The girls also did the passport and really enjoyed it.
-All 3 kids got into the whole pin trading thing. I had bought them 20 pins off e-bay and we didn't come home with a single original one.
-Photopass is a cool idea. It would be better if I had a cooperative DH. I don't have one picture of the 5 of us and come to think of it, my 3 kids aren't in any one of those pictures either. Plus I think they lost some of our pictures because the ones they took with Buzz, Woody and Jessie aren't on my card.
But hey, I've got pictures of me and my two youngest with Tink and Stitch.
-The new car stunt show (sorry it's late and I'm drawing a blank on the name
) was incredible. Thanks for the tip on getting a FP for it. We had great seats because of it. DS2 was really into it and it made my day just watching him get excited over it.
-I think the only ride we really wanted to do but didn't was Soarin' We had FPs but for some reason we didn't get a chance to get back over there and use them
My biggest disapointment was AK and the only reason I say that is there just wasn't enough time for us to really get into that park. I think I relied a little too much on all the comments of it being a 1/2 day park and I figured since it closed earlier than the other parks it wouldn't be a problem. Boy was I wrong
The day we were there we had done the Sunrise Safari and we had a sitter lined up that evening. So we had to be back at the hotel by 5 pm. We did do Dinosaur and the Safari and Kali (DS2 loved that!) but we spent a lot of time in dino-land. We actually liked the carnival feel. Everyone won a prize. We saw Lucky. But we never saw any shows, never walked any trials, never made it to the tree of life
The one thing I really wanted to see. I guess it's just another reason to go back...and we're already talking about that

The one thing I really wanted to see. I guess it's just another reason to go back...and we're already talking about that

It rained Sunday evening. The rest of the days we were there we were very lucky. Our Epcot day it rained for maybe 5-10 minutes but it was a warm gentle rain so we never bothered with ponchos or anything. We just used one to cover the stroller. When we were at MK it was very sunny but managed to sprinkle for about 2 minutes. The rest of the days were in the 80-90* range and breezy that's very comfortable to me.
