Just got back a couple hours ago. Spent the 8-15 in Disney at POR. Was there during Hurrican Charley and the resort was very helpful, and had quite a bit of damage as far as the fallen down trees and the rest of the grounds. Charley changed some of our plans, was suppose to go to the gulf coast for 3 days, parents went down before us and told us to not bother coming down there due to the condition of the area Was not able to see it,needless to say they only stayed one day and decided to come back to daytona beach where we stayed for 6 days at the oceanwalk resort. Spent the last 2 nights in orlando doing other parks. ANy ?'s i can help with i will be glad to reply.

When you left Orlando, were most of the restaurants and gas stations back up and running? Was electricity restored to most places?

Electricity is back up in most areas but there are still areas that don't have power.

As far as restaurants it all depends on whether or not they had storm damage.
