We just got back from our trip and I have to say that Harry Potter is amazing! My mom is a huge fan (I haven't read the books or seen the movies) and she had a great time.

We took all the advice I got here and went on Sunday, August 5th and arrived a little after 8 am. They were already letting people into the park. Wait time for Forbidden Journey was 15 minutes. We did it together the first time and then used the single rider line to ride again with no wait.

We're not rollercoaster people so we skipped those, but did walk through the line for Dragons to see the theming in there. If the line isn't long, I would encourage everyone to go through and just not ride if you don't like coasters. There's quite a bit to see. We hit it after lunch and it was only a 10 minute wait time posted.

The longest line we waited in was for Ollivanders. We were in line for about 40 minutes.

We had lunch at the Three Broomsticks (very good), had a butter beer, wandered around some more and then did Forbidden Journey another two times using the single rider line with less than a 10 minute wait (in the middle of the afternoon).

Thanks for sharing...I'm going to move this thread to the Trip Reports board since it's a better fit there.
