I got back 10 hours ago from my first Spring Break experience at Disney World. Anyone have any questions?

The weather was great! Highs of around 80, and mostly sunny. Had a couple of sprinkles one morning, but it never really rained.:)

The crowds were pretty much what I expected. If you got to the parks early, you could get a ton done. But by 10:30 or 11:00, forget it. I did a morning emh at the Magic Kingdom. Got to the park at 7am, and rode everything I wanted by 10am. Leaving the park to hop to Epcot, I was a fish swimming upstream. It was a huge mass of people entering the park. I got on an empty monorail leaving the park, and could see how packed the monorails were coming into the parks. At the TTC the ramp up to the MK monorail was a solid wall of people, and they were out into the stantions outside of the ramp.

I had a great time, but I can't imagine going to Disney World over Spring Break and not being at the parks at open. There is no way I would wait in those huge lines.

How is the construction going at MK? Still hoping the tarps are going to be down before May!!

Sounds good. DD21 and I have done spring break/Easter week two times. Since we've been to WDW numerous times, we knew that we would only be spending the early morning hours in the parks. We would be finished and headed out when the masses are headed in! :thumbsup2

We also just got back. Early EMH hrs were great. But so were the late EMH @ Epcot and MK. Late EMH @ AK & DHS were kinda crowded tho. On Easter Sunday we did early @ Epcot & late @ MK. MK was pretty empty around 1am to 3am.

Was there too, just got back also, just hope you didn't drive, lol. Our normally 6hr drive home turned in 12hrs :scared1:

This thread to our trip report board where is is a better fit.

We just got back too. Spent the whole week at disney. Ride home was dreadful! Normally 9 hours took us 12 hours. May never get into a car again!
Thanks Dis Board for all the tips! Went early every day, left at lunch time for a nap and a swim. Then closed down the parks every night. It was awesome. Crowds by 11 am were brutal. Weather was delightful. Cant wait to go back!:rotfl:
