hi everyone!

we just got back from 16 christmas days at wdw. stayed at windsor hills. we have 4 children (ages 6, 4 ,2 and 11 months) I don't have time to write a trip report but if anyone has any questions they would like me to answer, i certainly can do that. i found these boards very helpful planning my trip so i would love to repay the favor.
we rented a minivan with national. ate at most of the character meals. did all 4 parks. missed the water parks as the weather wasnt agreeing with us. we did swim in the windsor hills pool though!
and oh yeah, i am canadian. drove from vancouver to seattle, stayed the night and flew with aa there. on the way back we flew united. and stayed over another night.

glad to be home (only because i can plan our next vacation!)

Glad you had fun! We're headed down to WDW, Universal/IOA, and my parent's condo a couple hours away from Orlando in a few weeks. We'll be gone 12 days total, including driving. How did your kids do with such a long trip? My kids are 6.5, 3.5, and 11 months.

I'm impressed that you even considered the water parks with kids that age. We're skipping the water parks until they're a bit older.

Glad to hear you had a good vacation! Did you happen to see any of the new 2010 items? Or have pictures?

we bought layover flights so the kids could get out and run around. going was great. 3 hours and 4 hours. with a 1 hour layover. coming home was another story. the first flight was 2 hours. a breeze. the second was supposed to be only 5 but the plane broke so we waited on the tarmack for an other hour. 6 hours was WAY too long for my kids. i feel very greatful that the other people on the plane were so understanding. i thought i was going to lose it a few times but i calmed down when i saw that their expressions were of compassion and not frustration. didn't help that dd2 had the runs the morning we left and wanted to use the potty every 5 mins. not to mention that there we no change tables in the bathrooms for my baby. united airlines should be ashamed for that. very disappointing.

i saw alot of 2010 souvenirs while we were there and was a bit surprised since it was still 2009. like christmas balls! what? i was confused but read on here that they had a sale after black friday and got rid of all their 2009 decorations. good thing they were prepared with the 2010 ones!

we took a sleigh ride thru the campground and i have to say, that was my favorite part of the trip. that and the osbourne lights show. very nice.

we went to ice at gaylord and i have to say, it was a major rip off. won't do that again. parking cost us. coffee cost us. the show cost us. a picture at the end cost us. it was a real cash grab. $13 for parking for 2 hours....what?

we did the water parks the last time we were there (with only 2 children) and it was so much fun. we go to the great wolf lodge here all the time so water and our tribe is all good.
:lmao:
