Got back yesterday and had a FABULOUS time!!
Stayed at the GC on points and our room was 4343 over looking the entrance to California Adventure, (woke up every morning and listened to the rehearsals for HSM3 fun fun. Finally got to see it on Fri morn and thought it was much better than the HSM2 we saw in FL) Our room was not ready so we headed into the parks till about 5 then back to the GC to get settled in.
Parks were more crowded than I had expected but we enjoyed looking at all the detail WDW lacks. We did the halloween party th. got lots more candy than the one at WDW and my son enjoyed the fact that there were more dance parties and the parade was less scary.
We ate at Blue Bayou, we were late for ps but waited a short time to be seated kind of in the middle of the restaurant. I decided not to ask for a water seat since everyone on the boards indicated our wait would be over an hour. Loved our dinner(surf and turf) and the Flying Dutchhman desert was awesome.
We also ate at Napa Rose wonderful dinner the Sizzling Rock appetizer was just plain cool. We also ate at Storytellers 2x's for breakfast, Goofy's Kitchen, The Plaza, Whitewater Snacks, ESPN, Ariels Grotto, and Heartstone Lounge for appetizers as well.
We`also went to the La Brea tar pits, facinating and drove down Rodeo Drive...shocked that the stores only lasted a couple of blocks. We ate at Cheesecake Factory on Beverly and had a great chicken picatta.
I'd love to answer any questions, it was a great trip.
