Hi, we just returned from a week in California. It was so fun, hard to come home. We only did Disney two days, August 2nd and 3rd. I will try to post a trip report so you can hop over there for that.
But just wanted to mention a few things here: We flew into LAX, used the directions in the sticky above on how to get to Harbor Motels from the car rentals, great directions, way better than Mapquest or anything else I looked at. So thanks MaryJo (I think that is who posted the directions) Anyway, we also ate at Proud Bird, which is the restaurants she suggests in the directions. It was AWESOME. Expensive (like $20 a plate) but had great steak and the kids loved watching the jets come in for landing.
We were NOT impressed with BWPPI. We were in a suite at the very end of the motel, we had requested a room towards the front. We were on the second floor and whenever the people above us used their shower it gurgled down the pipes and the most foul smelling stuff came out of our drain in our shower, it was so gross! The continental breakfast in the morning was also very poor quality. However, you really can't beat the location and since we were only at Disney two days, we were hardly in the room. Had I been there for a longer time period I would've stayed somewhere else but for two nights it was bearable.
We took advantage of ridemax and all of hydroguys awesome tips so we rode tons of rides. We exhausted ourselves. My son was chosen for the Jedi Training Academy and we had a great spot for the parade. Any quesions feel free to ask. I'll jump over and work on the trip report now.
