We were a party of 8(1 9 yr old,3 teens and 4 adults)vacationing for 10 days. My brother-in law,his wife and 4 kids had never been to disney before.I made all the plans(and loved every second of it!!).
I made reservations for breakfast and dinner everyday. I ended up cancelling every breakfast reservation because 3 people in the group golfed every morning and 1 teen slept until 11am! That was fine for the rest of us who wanted to get in the parks early.
here's a list of restaurants we ate in;
Boma-dinner
WCC-dinner
Trail's End-dinner
Spoodle's-dinner
Cape May Cafe-dinner
Ohana-dinner
(Discovery Cove-all meals)
Fresh(Dolphin)- breakfast buffet(early!)
Picabu(Dolphin)-quick breakfast,lunch
PrimeTime Cafe-dinner
Wolfgang Puck's express(DtD)-lunch
Sunshine Seasons(Epcot, not sure of the CS name)-lunch
Rainforest Cafe(at AK)-dinner
Boma for dinner. What can I say, this place is awesome. Especially if you like to try new things. I do think it is a waste of money if you're going to take
someone here that is; 1)a picky eater, and 2)eats like a bird!
we had 5pm reservations and were seated right away. There's really a great selection of things to choose from. Chicken, great pulled pork, prime rib, seafood, all kinds of salads and fruit. I think the only thing that is missing
is bread. A+
Whisperin' Canyon Cafe for dinner-Now I've read both good and bad reviews for this place. I have to say the night we went for dinner(seated right away for dinner at 5:30pm)it was great! We had the skillet, the kids had mac & cheese, and one had a cheeseburger/fries. We loved it! Can't say one negative thing about this place! We loved the craziness and we all enjoyed the food. This is not a place for a quiet meal. It is a place to have fun! I say,if you're up for a rowdy time and especially if you have kids,ya gotta try this place! A+
Trail's End for dinner- We had cars and this is still a "journey" to get to. We drove to the parking lot, then had to get on a bus and then needed to walk a ways to Pioneer Hall. The food was good and the buffet was very reasonably priced. There was great fried chicken, ribs, salads, pasta, potatoes, shrimp and desserts(cookies, brownies, apple crisp). Nothing out of the ordinary, but tasty food.We all liked it,but thought it took too much time out of our schedule. With all the other great restaurants that are more convenient to get to,we probably wouldn't go back. If you feel like you can take the time to travel to Trail's End,you will enjoy the food! B+
Lunch break is over!!! I'll post more tonight!!
