Ok, so we were in the parks May 8th-12th. We saw NO Lime Green Mickey Heads? Did everyone forget them or just didn't want to identify themselves? I had one on my purse, my SIL had one on her purse and my DD10 made a necklace out of one. My DD was so disappointed that we didn't see any. Hope everyone had a great time:goodvibes

I think it was because there were so many people. Much more crowded then in Jan. I did not see anyone either and I was in the park Wed-Fri. Albort, where were you?

I was there, too! My LGMH was right on my black backpack...no Dice.

But it was a great week, wasn't it? (With the exception of that 98 degrees on Tuesday...I was sweltering but happy!)

(And I must have stared at every ODV employee I could find looking for Albort!! LOL)

The weather was on the warmer side for me but definitely enjoyable. I noticed a lot more people then when we went at the end of Jan. Our longest wait time was 11 min. We timed all our waits to keep track. We used fast pass too which helped.
I noticed a lot of choir and band kids while we were there. We did DL on Wed. afternoon and Thurs. and CA on Friday.

Godale,

We did the same thing...our longest lines were for food!

We did DCA on Friday and the lines there were MUCH better than at DL. I think our longest ride lines the whole week were 25 mins (both Peter Pan and Sun Wheel took about this long).

LOTS of rides were walk-ons.

Fastpasses helped us, too.

It was a great week. I could have died on Tues. Man was it hot. We got off the plane Tues morning and I though oh no I am in big trouble :lmao:

I think our longest wait was 30-40 minutes on Peter Pan, why does that ride take so long?

I had a few people look at the LGMH on my purse but no one said anything we were thinking that people were just being shy :rotfl: and not saying hi. It would have been fun to see some DISers. Darn! We also didn't even see any of the dream crew.

Im thinking Disers are all talk and no show.:rotfl: Maybe better luck next time.:thumbsup2 I have never looked at so many back packs.

I was there on Thurs night DL, Friday DL, Sat DCA, and Sun DL. I did not see any LGMs, I had one attached to the zipper of my fanny pack.

Thursday evening, everything was a walk on. We did Indy, Pirates, Winnie the Pooh, and Haunted Mansion, in less than 2 hours.

Friday it was a bit crowded at DL, my mom used an ECV so we used the handicap entrances, so even though it was crowded we did not have to wait very much. We were able to experience on Friday: Peter Pan, Alice, Pinnochio, Snow White, Mr. Toad, Matterhorn (when we were getting off Matterhorn we got dreamed, we each got the dream lanyards with 2 dream pins), Small World, Roger Rabbit, Goofy's house, Minnie's house, Chip and Dale's Treehouse, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tiki Birds, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear 2x, Fireworks, Alice again, teacups, and Small world again. We arrived at 8:30 and took a break at the hotel from 3 until 7 and left the park at 11:00.

Saturday we did DCA. We were able to experience on Saturday: Monsters Inc., Muppet Vision, Jumpin Jellyfish, lunch with the princesses, carousel, Sun Wheel (outside cars), Golden Zepher, (had fastpasses for California Screamin, DD chickened out so I rode 3 times in a row while mom and DD did Turtle Talk), Aladdin show, Soarin over Cali, High School Musical Peprally, Block Party Bash, Mullholland Madness, Grizzly River Run, Tough to be a Bug, Chew Chew Train, bumper cars, Lady Bug Boogie, Flick's Flyers, Electrical Parade. We were there from 10:00 until 8:30. Mr. Incredible and Frozone were in front of the Hyperion Theater and Lightning McQueen and Mater were near Jumping Jellyfish and Golden Zepher. DCA is a newer park so most of the regular queues are handicap accessible, so we took advantage of the fastpass system here to minimize waits.

Sunday was mother's day, we had brunch at Goofy's kitchen, we went to DL and did Peter Pan, Pinnochio, Alice, Storybookland Canal Boats, Roger Rabbit, Splash Mountain, Indy, Pirates, Tiki Birds, Jungle Cruise, Parade of Dreams. Sunday was by far the most crowded. The handicap wait for Pirates was 25 min and Splash was 35min. It was also hard to navigate the ECV in the crowds on Sun, so it took us longer to get around. We were at DL from 12:30 until 8:00pm our car picked us up from the DL hotel to go back to the airport at 8:50.

We had a great time and we will be back, next trip will be a longer one!
