Just Back...What's the deal with the bugs?

These little buggers?

(I zoomed so you could get a better look)

We found that they were most attracted to white/light colored surfaces. Everytime I saw a bug on someone it was a person wearing a white shirt or shorts or who had platinum blonde hair. Saw them all over many of the white benches found at bus stops. The worst we saw was at the bus stop at the Beach Club Resort.

Are you sure you can post that picture on the dis??? LOL I mean, it looks like those bugs are getting to know each other in the biblical sense

They love my black car. They were all over my light colored house but they don't seem as bad as earlier in the week.

We saw Cinderella in the lobby, then Belle, Aurora, Mary Poppins stopped by. No Snow white.

I am pretty sure that was it, now that I think about it, there should have been at least one more. We had a great meal anyway.

Did you see the Fairy Godmother? we are going in 31 days and have breakfast at CRT and my 3 year ol dprincess wants to meet the Fairy Godmother

Those lovebugs are the worst. Luckily we missed them by about 5 days this time. But last trip they were everywhere. We could not even lay out by the WL pool because they crawled onto you.

NJOGRE, We ate at CRT 3 weeks ago and Fairy Godmother was there along with Aurora, Snow white, Belle, and Cinderella downstairs for the photos.

Love bugs are out in spring and fall for 3-5 weeks. Some years are worse than others and it moves around where they are since they only live for 5 days. Last week it was really bad where I am but they're about gone now.

They only live to love. What a life -- just some quickies and death ... another year and the cycle repeats itself.

I loved the bug pic -- now I know why people think they are "double-bugs". My sister (who lives in Florida) spoke about them.

I would guess birds or chameleons like them right? SOMETHING must eat them!!!

Anyway ... now for the OP -- not that this is the restaurant board but did you like FLAME TREE? What did you eat?

I thought it was very good. I had the ribs and the Corn and the Chocolate cake.

The chocolate cake was so so.

I read that they are very acidic so nothing eats them. We were wondering if birds or dragonflys would-nope. They also are really bad for your car paint because of this.
