Just back!! What a trip!!!

Hi everyone!!!

We just returned from our 40th birthday bash week at wdw and it could not have been better. The highlight of our trip was on Wednesday morning, my boyfriend proposed to me in front of Cinderellas Castle. I was so overwhelmed with emotion a Disney employee came over to see what was wrong. When we told him our happy news and he made us grand marshalls of the 3:00 parade!!!! It was such a thrill to ride in Walt Disneys electric car and wave to the crowd!!! I will never forget it.

Other great things about our week were 1. Getting onto Mission Space at Epcot. They were line testing after 4:00 and we got in with just a small wait. It was a great ride that gave the feeling of blasting off into space. 2. Chocolate chip icecream sandwiches from the Sleepy Hollow, just outside Liberty Square. They are the best thing I have ever tasted. 3. Disney Employees: We met the most wonderful friendly and helpfull people. 4. The food at All Star Music: great value and quality. Rotissere (sp) chicken and pork loin were awesome.

I know what you mean about those ice cream sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow. When we got some the cookies were just out of the oven. I have even dreamed about those since we came home last month. Umm

This was all a total surprise. We have been together for 4 years and this was not anything I expected. We had gone to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and Bob did not seem to be very hungry. We then took the monorail to the kingdom and started to go down Main Street. We were wearing Birthday butttons because of celebrating at Chef Mickeys, and the Barbershop Quartet stopped to sing us Happy Birthday. Bob wanted to get a picture from the disney photographer but only wanted the one closest to the cacstle. At that point I did not understand why he was so fussy about the photo. When we reached the far end of Main Street , we asked the photographer for a picture. She took one and just as she was about to take the second, Bob told her to wait, pulled the ring out of his pocket, got down on one knee and proposed. The photo she got is awesome. I look so surprised and happy. I will treasure it for the rest of my life.

Many thanks to all the Dis Board members for their well wishes. I do not have a scanner to show the picture. This will probably make my fiance buy one!!!! This trip was definitely the best one ever!!!

Will there be a Disney wedding???????????? In February and in May my ds and I saw more than 10 at the wedding gazebo at the YC - some in rain, some in wind, some in hot, hot sun - but they were every one so Magical!!!!
