Just back. We were in the parade sept 13

We just got back and had an amazing time. Our first day we were picked to be the volunteer family of the day. We got to ride in the first car in the volunteer parade with the muppets right ahead of the 3 pm parade. It was so neat.

Was anyone from Dis there? Would you have photos?

Congratulations on being Family of the DAy. What a special experience to share with all your friends. We got chosen to be in the Mickeys Jammin Jungle Parade at AK on AUg 27.

It was funny we had left the poly we had breakfast at o'hana and the monorail wasn't working (we took a bus to get there) I asked when we left if it was working and was told no. We went to wait at the bus stop and noticed the monorail working. Was frustrating(and hot) as we missed rope drop. We went to the booth to redeeme our GAD pass for the fastpass and a castmember started to talk to me as we were waiting in line. He was asking about what we had done to get the passes and asked what our plans were later. After we got our passes and buttons he told us his job was to pick 2 families to be in the parade and asked if we would like to. So if we had made rope drop we would not have been picked.
It was neat and they had a photopass photogapher at certain spots taking pictures. We got a certificate and a photo. We also had a reserved spot to watch the rest of the parade. We were in the first car with a driver and the other family was in the car behind.
