First to say Thanks to everyone for all your help
I have only been to Disney Twice now, but I feel
like I know what I am doing thanks to all the great
advise and help from everyone.!!!

First nite, checked into Swan at 1:00 am, went to bed.
Wednesday AM, bright and early (sort of) had coffee
(brought my own starbucks and creamer) juice and
rolls in the room. The Swan has little mini bar refig that
work great for keeping juice and cokes that I brought
from home cold.

Lunch AK
We had ps at Rainforest, I had wanted to try Tusker House
but DH perfers a sit down meal so we went here. We arrived
about an hour befor our PS because DD (age 6) was hungry.
Now, I am not a big fan of chain restraunts but I have no
complaints, they seated us within ten min. despite being an
hour early. Our waiter was friendly and prompt. We had an
order of Calamari to start. DH had the shrimp dinner, it was
so big we should have shared it. My DD had hotdogs, and I
had an order of Quesadilla's. Everything was good, way to much
to eat but tasty. The decor is fun and DD enjoyed watching
everything. To drink we had ice tea and DD had a lemonade
Total bill with tip $55.00

Wenesday Dinner
I had planned a special dinner at Shula's Steakhouse for
DH . He loves a great steak. My DD went to the Dolphin club
(no charge since we were dinning at Shula's) here she played and
had dinner. DH and I went to our long awaited dinner. The
restraunt is a dark, club type, which was fine. We were seated
at a very small table up against the wall. The place was not
full and I felt they could have put us at a larger table.
The waiters introduced themselves. I ordered a vodca to start.
We order the chilled Lobester for appetizer. Now this was
delicious, it is served with a mustard sauce and I ate every bite.
For our main course we both ordered the prime rib which is
supposed to be the house specialty. The portions were so big
they almost didn't fit on the table. I was overwhelmed by such
a large piece of meat! I ate maybe 1/4 of it. We also had
asparagus. My DH did a little better with his, he ate maybe
1/3 of his prime rib (remember he his a meat lover!) Too much!
Desert was a chocolate and ice cream creation that we both
loved . I had a glass of wine with dinner as well.
Total cost $145.32 with tax and tip.
IMHO this was not my or DH favorite restraunt. The prime rib
was rather blad in taste, and way way too much. The service
was ok, but nothing special. At those prices everything should
be special.

We ate at Shula's in Dec. and did not think it was anything special. For what you pay for a meal it was nothing special. Looking forward to hearing about Jiko's, it is one of our favorite Disney restaurants.

Thanks for your reviews! I, too, am not one that often frequents chain restaurants, but I did enjoy our lunch at RFC @ AK a few years ago, and may go back on our next trip. Glad you had a good meal.

Looking forward to reading more. :)
