We just came back and I have to say, we ate very, very well.

In fact, it seemed as if the whole trip revolved around the food (or at least the ADRs).

We ate at: Turf Club, Les Chefs de France, Cape May, Kona, Boma.

CS: Peco Bill's, Sunshine seasons (Breakfast),
Wolfgang Puck Express (twice!).Wolfgang Puck Express is the BIGGEST BARGIN at WDW!!!! I cannot understand why it is not PACKED, it simply BLOWS away the other CS choices.:cheer2:

Have to say that KONA was far and away the BEST meal. No question. Food is to die for.

Boma was a distant second.

Turf club was good.

Chefs de France was also quite good.

Cape May was frankly just OK...I was disappointed with it actually...would not recommend it, unless of course you want a lesson on gluttony: watching people transform into pig-like beasts as they unload a whole tray of crab legs onto their plate, leaving none for the many waiting in line behind them. They ran out of many items and most dishes were luke-warm to cool. The ribs were less than good.

We also love Kona, even if it is a bit noisy. And totally agree with your opinion of WPE - Sunshine Seasons WAS my favorite CS til I tried WPE - great value on the DDP.

We liked Wolfie's place so much, we went back twice, and I was prepared to go a third time but I ran short of time. There are only 2 restaurants in WDW that I would say are worth the price they charge...Kona and WPE.

I NEED to get the recipe for their Curried chicken pita.:love::love:

I love WPE's spaghetti and meatballs - quite literally the only spaghetti & meatballs I've ever gotten at a restaurant that I liked better than my own. have the creme brulee for dessert and it rivals most TS meals.

I so agree with these comments! We were there earlier in September. We were on the DxDP and I know people warned me about it being too much food, but it was WAY WAY WAY too much food! I had all my ADRs at the parks we were in that day and did not go to any resort rest (except Cape May, but we were staying there). I still felt like the days revolved around our ADRs even inside the parks. I rarely ordered dessert and usually just got a small appetizer and still couldn't eat everything.

I felt the same about Cape May and was pretty disappointed. I thought everything was just way overcooked. Of course seafood needs to be fully cooked, but not to the point of being rubbery!

We were on the delux plan and we could NOT eat as much as they gave us. I ended up bringing "snacks" home. We found that the 2 credit meals were great for us. Would I do that again. Yes!

We also LOVE WPE! Did you eat Lunch or Dinner at Kona? What did you have?

We ate Dinner at Kona.

I had the Ginger Crusted Rib Eye steak (at a waiter's recommendation) with mashed potatoes and brocholi.......yummy, yummy, yummy......Do yourself a favor and order it!:cool1:

My wife had the cocconut/almond chicken breast which comes with the kona salad.......again: yummy, yummy, yummy!!!!

Our daughter wanted to order off the kids meal (even though she was on the adult plan>>>she had the spagetti) she LOVED THE MEAL.

The bread and butter was delicious!

The deserts were to die for! We had the bananna chocolate cream brule.....daughter had the ice cream sundae.......LOVED THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!:worship:

I don't know how you cats do the DxDP or even the DDP. We did the QSP last Nov and it seemed like a ton of food.

It is actually waaaaay too much food. You just get done with the CS lunch, then you are rushing off to a huge Dinner.

I packed on some pounds! Diet/exercise is my next step.:guilty:

I have the DxDP coming up for our Honeymoon, I have a feeling it will be too much food also. We planned breakfast at 7:30 am, lunch at 1pm, and dinners at 8:30, so I am hoping maybe spreading the food out will help

We were on the DxDP and we too ate ourselves silly. :rotfl: And yes, there were days where we did not get any dessert or shared 1 dessert because we were already pretty full. We can't decide whether we want to do the DxDP again. We really enjoyed all of our meals, but it is a lot of food (and that's coming from me who did not think DDP was enough!). I still have leftover fudge (leftover snack credits) in the fridge. What helped is that we did 4 meals that were 2-credits each. They were all wonderful and totally worth the 2 credits. I think next time I'm doing a 2-credit meal every day.

Same here!

thanks for sharing, I'm on the fence with Cape May dinner...we love breakfast but I'm still going back and forth with this one.

I would NOT do cape may, unless you like lukewarm, overcooked, food with little flavor.

The saving grace is you get to watch people turn into swines as they "hog" as much of the crab legs as physically possible......oh, and the deserts are good as well.
